Ladbrokes owner GVC intalks with MGM Resorts about a deal said be worth $200mil . Deal may be announced Monday.

My concern would be as with SSE there may have been a drop in energy generating due to weather . No rain for hydro and no wind for turbine .
To generate electricity they may have had to use gas? and that works out more expensive.plus there were reports with (EDF) to shut down some nuclear plants to do maintenance.
On the plus
There were signs churn was more comfortable , price increases was accepted without too much noise and management were on the ball with regards to investors.
Oil prices are higher , USA booming,

So group revenue, adj operating profit, group net debt. It would be good to stem the continuing fall in customer numbers. Any further disposals? One-off exceptional charges?

Yes lostandconfused, I had 98k shares and had the dividend ( Nov & final so I had 11,760 pound in dividends to offset it a bit) Yes Lloyds have been a bit boring the last 2 months, not in very heavy there 70k shares

If the results are good on Tuesday I can see centrica share price possibly around £1.70 in a few weeks in my opinion.

JP - did you take a bit on 48k shares you sold or did you buy them at a lower price than your 187 break-even?

I was tempted to cash in some of my holding when they went above 160 but think I'll sit it out now and hope for a continued recovery. Might even buy some more if they drop into 140's.

I'm also in Lloyds at 65p - what a boring share over last 12 months!

i sold centrica in may and bought bt , yesterday sold bt with 17% profit(it was lucky guess) and looking elsewhere to put money to work, been looking at cna again but unable to see clear pattern of them going up in short term( long term you guys are safe) John i want to give you small tip and also ask you for advice Do you now FULCRUM utility? i am looking to enter there , do you have any knowledge about this little firm? they are going towards charging points for cars and have 9 million cash any thoughts?

Hi iceman, yes I still have 50k shares here but need 187p just to break even. I sold 48k shares here just over to months ago and put some of the money into Lloyds, but since I bought them they have gone down about 3p. We know this is a two pound + share but when it will get back up the again is anybody's guess

So what happened to us this week, at least it was positive todayWe finished flat on the week - .15p and the FT + 23There were no upgrades or downgrades hereWe had a high of 154.9p and a low of 149.3pIt's the same as last week 12 analysts have us at Buy. 6. Hold. 2. Sell. 4 and a average of 163.18pThe highest is UBS & Barclays have us at 215pAnd the lowest HSBC 120p so a big difference in opinion Have a good weekend all. :o)

Good find whatsup, cheers,not the first of the new energy suppliers to fall & I doubt it will be the last IMO Size is king in the utility sector,some of the smaller companies haven’t got the cash flow to pay for the future contracts on energy so they reach a tipping point & fold.

Me also with BP,GSK,HGM,HSBC,IMB,PFC,RDSB,and TW.All in the last few years.Also looking to do it again now with CARD,CEY,CAML,CNA,DLG,GFRD,GLEN,PTEC,SSE,and VOD,all recent buys with value,and yields over 7% except GLEN.

I still don't know how any investors read these post, on CNA I think there's only about ten of us if that. There must be hundreds of investors in ADVFN with Lloyds shares, do they read posts or do the not even bother looking at them. I've been Trading half my life and until I looked at some posts on here had never looked at any post in all that time
