My mate also told me that one part of the Wirral now has no repair engineers left? Again, I don’t know how true that is?

When he told me that nugget I naturally had to retort with ‘I thought you said it was the most affluent areas that have been hardest hit?’. LOL. No offence intended if anyone does live or originate from there.

Not sure Norma, Cornwall is a fairly poor region but they already had a lack of engineers, North Devon guys weren't very supportive for the cause and none left afaik. South Devon Exeter area had at least 4 go, and in the south west generally engineers are looking to leave once they have their plans sorted.

London has always been a problem as pay is poor compared to living costs. Unsure as to the national picture but probably similar with both relatively stable numbers to well under manned.

Someone didn’t do their due diligence properly. LOL.

Homecare customers have been stable at 3.6-3.7m for the last 5 years. Watch that get decimated by the time next years results are out. It’ll be the biggest percentile drop in their history.

You said a patch in Hereford has 1 engineer left? A mate was telling me that it’s the more affluent areas where they’ve always struggled to recruit that have been hit the hardest? Don’t know how true that is but if they struggled before, they’ll certainly struggle now.

waldron: In it's forward look the Board has clearly set out it's aim of restoring shareholder value. In that regard, I consider next month's AGM as being pivotal particularly in respect of future restoation of dividend. I anticipate share price will shortly re-visit the 60s, consolidate and then trade north of 70p.
