"Do CEY mine silver ?"

Well yes they do in fact!

CEY sold $1,044,000 worth of silver dore bars in 2018.
So CEY does in fact mine silver as well as gold - although a lot less of it!

Kenny..

You are a little boring to be honest mate.. try at least to keep up with the narrative and remember what people say. It makes you look like a little slow at worst, or obnoxious at best.. Surely you're a grown adult and can cope with the flow of a non bias conversation?

This has had two attempts now to break out of it's current trend line and FAILED.. That is a huge bear signal and as it stands 70p is more likely than 100

It has nothing do with how much silver i might be trying to buy, unlike most here. My interests are far far beyond single stock punts and cover multiple industrial sectors. You just don't like the view of technical trading facts because you're holding and choose to ignore it because it suits your agenda and makes you feel better about your paper losses here. (just guessing now, perhaps you have a different technical analysis)??

That I'm afraid doesn't and won't stop me from range trading any stock I wish whether or not I have any long terms opinions about the underlying metals application in the real world.

Silver is a massively industrial metal. If you're a green energy bug, you can't make solar panels without it :-)

I know silver is industrial to a small extent but otherwise why are you on here then Plat?

Only a rate increase will move the markets a lot lower and that could happen.

My guess is we see some bad economic stats and then a cut and the market will rally, silver and gold down, and their miners.

I hold no hope for the whole PM sector. It’s *ucked.

As Buffett said, if they move rates lower then the US market is very cheap. But then, he’s hardly a gold lover is he?

All PM enthusiasts have been rodgered in the last 11 years, desperately waiting for the financial world to cave in, desperately underestimating the sheer power of the US printing press to swell the markets.

It has to end at some point. Could be years yet though.

Bought a decent wodge. Trump could come up with a China deal but I think, in general,we.ll see a mkt correction sooner rather than later hence my investment after the 'plunge' today.It.ll be a sticking plaster job - gold will have it.s day.

yes Kenny...

Everything is oversold as much as much as they are overbought. Ignore the noise, get in and get out.

If you love a story so much then just take your capital costs back each time, retaining your profits as free shares.

Nothing goes up and down in straight lines and the market is always open and whilst my wealth is in cash then it's all mine and safe :-P

I agree stop losses are going to be in my armoury moving forward as I have noticed when a stock loses sympathy it goes well beyond its value before a bounce . Now CEY is back at 90p are you reverting back to 70p Plat ?

Plat: re: your above post:

"And always put in your stop and loss and profit stops, before the top and bottom, leave something in for the next man. Just make sure you get out, you're only exposed to risk whilst invested."

I agree with the above,Plat:

Sell while it is still going up and buy while it is still going down as long as you know the share's general behaviour.

Don't get caught when they suddenly close the door, just as you are trying to get out.
Take the profits and don't wait for "pie in the sky ".

It is and I do alright Kenny :-P

I'm not the only person who trades, it can be done.. Most people who get it wrong though, falsely believe they have called it right and never ever use stop losses.
Always use stop losses, the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

And always put in your stop and loss and profit stops, before the top and bottom, leave something in for the next man. Just make sure you get out, you're only exposed to risk whilst invested.

Main markets possibly peaked, plus spike in Vix volatility this weak. Many over positioned short traders on Vix futures who will have to exit. Not had a major equity correction since end last year, due one soon. But nothing is given or certain! Miracle US China trade deal could push markets higher..

Support and resistance Kenny.70p was on the cards if it retraced from 91.68 closing above that is a trend breakout with 106 being the next strong resistance.Prices move in both directions, you'd have to be naive to believe they don't.Still not buying though, as Tripoli is a big risk for Egypt and Gold isn't yet strong enough for me
