So that is not - previously they held 15.09% and an extra 0.55% as some sort of CFD (possibly shorts) totalling 15.64% and that resulting situation has changed to 14.98% and an extra 0.70% as CFDs totalling 15.69%?

This reading would suggest Blackrock have increased their holding by 0.05%.

DonaldTrumpshair,
Share price isn't really that important if your not intending to sell.

Comedy money man. The Frank Spencer of Stock. When do you need to buy to get the div. Life's easy - share drops just before you can buy in and get the div. You total plank.

Plat Hunter,

The NAV, market cap, sentiment and anything else you want to throw at it has nothing to do with it. You've just said you can buy stock today ( ex divi ) and you will still be paid a divi if you hold on the record date 23rd I believe. This is incorrect. To qualify for the divi you needed to buy yesterday.

If you buy today - no dividend. The Record date is to allow trades to be processed. If you bought yesterday and sold today - you get the dividend.

You can but not being unitised investment fund, the divi is only taken from the capital and not the market capital. The market capital is only a reflection of market sentiment, if the share price was a sum of the NAV then that would be different story.

Plat Hunter,

That would mean you can buy today ( ex divi ) and still get the divi because you would be a holder on the record date.. Bargain

Yes martinXD is the date the income is effectively stripped from the capital with the record date being exactly what it says.. A record of holders to be paid. You have to be a holder on the record date, not the XD

Kennyp52. Yes, AAZ needs to be on watch lists because there is lots happening and an avalanche of RNS's.

Net cash is $10.8 million at 31 March 2019. Gross cash is $17.7 million. So borrowing outstanding could be paid back tomorrow from cash but the interest rate is very low (local Bank rate) so they are not in any hurry.

2018 profit figures when announced next month will blow your socks off. FY results are not delayed because there is any bad news, it's just the company's usual schedule.

JLP is for those who like southern African jurisdiction. I was in this many moons ago but give companies there a wide berth these days because of nationalism.
