“at least the share price is pretty low”

May I ask by what metric in your opinion is the share price low? And what formula did you use to arrive at your valuation conclusion?

Who knows Aman- have gone in as sometimes there’s a build up rise to anticipated news and sometimes the reverse, but as you say the share price is low at mo.
Worth the risk for me at this point.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do ;-).

I went back in today- the 8th presentation will be interesting as promised Sukari update etc - whether “presentedR21; in meeting as opposed to “publishedR21; in an RNS (communicated change a few weeks ago from CEY) causes movement remains to be seen.

Why would the 8th be fun? Do you not think it could be bad news? Do you not think they could post bad news? Burkina Faso ain’t the safest place to invest, especially with the new Covid variant spreading like wild fire in Africa

Stick with Anglo Am Plat ...it.s the way to go. CEY acts like a downtrodden dog, needs help. The 8th (?) should be fun ...looking at the share price moves, you might get cheaper than 90p. No love for this share ...it.s a lonely black sheep wandering the halls of Hogwarts

Kenny the clown is very quiet today, perhaps he’s working overtime at Tesco to pay for his losses here? 🤡

Prat - you are currently risking 5p to make 2p, your risk is therefore 150% more than your potential reward. It’s not going to end well for you in the long-term kidda.

Perhaps you should do some reading on trading risk/reward calculations, statistics, money management and expectations before putting another penny in the market? Plank!

It's also very clear that Crypto's and meme stocks are running on leverage. Which at the end of the day is a loan and in an inflationary environment with higher borrowing costs, the provider is squeezed on costs and risk. This will have the effect of reducing the available offerings of high multiples leverage and wider spreads, in turn reducing market volumes in the first instance and increasing volatility in the second. Now's not the time to start buying CMC or Plus500 and the likes imoIf you're not old enough to remember real inflation then it's time to start reading.

Safe haven lol- the only safe haven if COVID gets worse is cash- look what happened in ~March2020 everything went down, gold only came back when the general markets did, then came to a grinding halt and dipped when the generally rest of the markets and crypto marched onto new highs.
Crytpto is it's own beast- pointless making comparisons- but institutional investment is growing in it- some articles have said safe haven although I just think it's a sensible thing to do with your portfolio highest asset risk and smallest % of portfolio. Trading it is hard to do successfully because of sudden wild swings, staying in large periods of time and coming out and in is most preferable, for me in any case.
If with this dent the leader, BTC is still up ~65% where most goldies down ~30%. Goldies are my next highest risk asset, great for constant trading though. Look over the past 5 years and all those "ponzi scheme", "tulips" detractor brigade are weeping at their miss, and so tend to be most anti.
PMs, crypto and others, all useful in a balanced portfolio.

It undermines the crypto communities claim of a safe haven somewhat at the very least
