04/6/2019 09:59 | Totally agree Steve .. I still choose to work but have a small property portfolio and small pension pot which I should really switch into a SIPP . This share dealing is to get a better return on my cash than the 1% ISA rates ! | kennyp52
04/6/2019 09:46 | Yes, and have other stocks to give portfolio balance and always keep some cash. My main pension someone else looks after, plus I have other non equity stuff- never keep all eggs in 1 basket just in case, however tempting it is sometimes when a stock looks ace. | stevedaytrader
04/6/2019 09:42 | Shield .. tell trader365 and Plat Hunter ... they need your sage advice . Anyway quite dramatic rise on no real news just POG so if good news comes through my 120 might be pessimistic and it could be back to the 136 and onwards . Sentiment is a powerful driver on this share . | kennyp52
04/6/2019 09:22 | Kenny - I have been doing exactly what you describe with this share. Kept half in in case we got a sudden rise and the other half used to lower the average share holding price. Then added more when the price recently dropped to 80p and 84p. You need to include the cash buffer when valuing the share. As the share price falls that cash becomes a bigger percentage of the share price. | shieldbug
04/6/2019 09:15 | I had good advice some time ago daytrader .. average down if you believe the fundamentals are strong and if you can see a pattern with the share trade half your pot in day trades . Works for me on this share . I think that is the balance you refer to? | kennyp52
04/6/2019 08:56 | Agree Boris, and lol on Prat- I got crazy comment from him as my moniker states daytrader but I also hold- he doesn't understand balance. I said at the big drop Feb, ace buy in early 90s for the sipp and ISA for med-long. Plus mgmt. changes were key for confidence. FTSE has been interesting last 2 days- big drop at opening then recovery, fingers crossed for same today- FED rate cuts more and more likely pushing gold... very pleased for all holders here and for those who had the nerve to buy in on the weird drop last week. | stevedaytrader
04/6/2019 08:55 | Trader365 .. just shut up . You have no clue on this share . Go back to your penny share gambles . Fundamentals will always help knowledgable investors weather a storm and you can stick your graphs & pontificating where the sun doesn’t shine . You don’t care about newbies or anyone else you self serving berk. | kennyp52
04/6/2019 08:49 | It's still got some appreciation, then a nice steady income hold. 120 short term. Good news on output or exploration which is expected can take us up to 200. Prat is rather quiet. | borisjohnsonshair
04/6/2019 08:44 | £1 about to go? | qs99
04/6/2019 03:58 | Winners run and cut loses.......so keep stuff that's got over valued by emotional markets and sell good value!!!! You utter utter moron. | borisjohnsonshair
03/6/2019 20:39 | Yes happy days $1327 for gold now. Roll on smashing through £1. Shouldn't be much resistance imo until around 120p area. | ukgeorge
03/6/2019 19:45 | gold is on a tear but silver is still in the doldrums if that gets some legs we could see some fireworks for sure. I spread my load on PMs this is one of my main gold plays though, the other is HGM | creditcrunchies
03/6/2019 18:45 | Defo, gold $13.24. Should pop up quickly | astjgroom
03/6/2019 16:27 | Strong finish and possibly break the 100p tomorrow. | yorgi
03/6/2019 16:05 | am also in SHG, despite it's hedge, so hopefully CEY/SHG can start to motor on a much improved sentiment and price for POG....GLA | qs99
03/6/2019 15:15 | Yeah well in the money with low buying, trading and tasty US$24k div. Makes DTs magic beans $ look like pocket change. | borisjohnsonshair
03/6/2019 15:06 | Its nice to have a usefull idiot in the White House, I for one applaud him, he should carry on as he as done- done wanders for my gold minning shares! | shayadfn
03/6/2019 15:03 | Still, better day than many. If gold keeps up we'll see much more | astjgroom
03/6/2019 14:43 | It doesn’t look like we are going to break through the 100p today after all. | yorgi
03/6/2019 14:01 | This seems more than POG ? I have felt this has been severely undervalued but on no news this is a big 2 day hike ... unless someone is in the know ?? Having said that I have consistently maintained if production is on / exceeding target then 120 is a fair expectation . Your big buy looking tidy now Boris 👍 | kennyp52 |
