No offense intended to Chinese people. Seems many nations & wonderful people globally are currently very let down by shocking "leaders".

Lukehold ... it is but proven manageable ... if they can charge customers without regulatory interference !! It’s not a long hold for me ... see where the price goes before ex div and try to get out with a profit . Just pointing out that it is a tasty dividend if the ex div share price holds .
CEY might strengthen even more this week if POG continues to creap up . Good to see it over $1285 . Psychological $1300 broken IMHO will add momentum to share price recovery . Good thing about buying so low is the penny movements are much higher percentages . When you step back here 120p is very realistic .. that’s 33% . I missed the bottom but got a few thousand at 82.68 but with dividend . Forever the optimist I know but my gut says we are going to be making money in the near future on this share 🤔

Further to that houghton... i do find large caps easier for doing that.. They're certainly more predictable.I've known some really successful traders including founding members of Chicago and London Liffe and they've all said the same thing."Take your profits little and often and take your losses as easily as you'll take the profits""Better to lose 10% on something than be locked out of something else"Took me years and many losses until i finally took it on board though.

Thats exactly what i do houghton... especially with your bigger, say more reliable and liquid stocks. It's easier said than done though, temptation is hard to control. If I'm following half a dozen stocks then my purchases won't be greater than say 10% of my overall capital. That allows me to ride my profits and top up on any retrace... Eventually a stock cycle will complete. Sounds boring and is to start with, but they won't all cross the line at the same time. If i can get a few purchases in on something then bank 20% then it's a good job. You'll be surprised how it all adds up too, over time.

Plat - if you don't mind me asking do you keep cash aside and build a position in, say, the likes of FRES with multiple buys in chunks? I often find myself fully invested with little spare cash for what you might call opportunities that come along, so I get stuck until one of my holdings performs and I can sell (apart fromJLP which I'm holding for the long term, as you know). It's a habit I must get out of.

I was in WPP but got out before the big drop . Not looked at it since . FRES another one suffering from a bit of production hiccup that will come again . I hold but not going to add as not in too heavy . Gone heavy here on CEY so exposed enough . Daft one is Centrica .. 8% dividend around the corner . IAG another with 51.5c total divi coming up . It’s all good fun .

I've been in WPP since the turn of the month been happy with that. I'm currently adding FRES whilst in the range of 750-800 too. The latter has a nice 20% gain roughly every 3-4 months if you buy the lower end of the range.

JMAT is a another good one for that but that's very toppy, I like to pick up that one close to 2800 and it usually take 6-8 months to complete

JLP's a decent punt but that's all it was for me, I found it by accident and when top slicing, i only took out the initial purchase cost and slowly built a nice little holding of free shares. It's an amazing turnaround story and this fella recently took a 9% holding.

I always say do your own research away from the bb's but pop over on the JLP board as there's far to much going on to fit it all in here.

That would be nice Plat . 120 is where I have this share price at some time in this calendar year . It’s nice to realise I have some dividends coming through . I don’t really trade with dividends in mind ... to me they are a Brucie bonus and pleasant surprise as my focus is on share price . ITV recovered steadily and might be ready to move up . I know you are in JLP Plat . This could go well . Just starting to generate profits / free cash and recent acquisition could transform the financials. Hoping for 5p but 10p is not unrealistic in longer term

91.2 ex div , POG sliding up to $1288 .. be nice to see this hit $1300 week ... but some heavy auction sales . Confidence not 100% yet but the figures justify a much higher share price . Strong free cash flow from Q1 which should mean better dividend . Maybe it will take payment of an increased interim to really drive the share price back over 100 and on to 120 . Another increased resource announcement in there also. Fundamentals looking stronger backed up by a new management team on the production side . Steady rise in share price hopefully but by end of year if they continue along this path the share price should be back to where it should be. Good luck all.
