16/12/2020 14:49 | I put in a buy order for these today following yesterday’s slip. I doubt it’ll be filled now. I still have some buried deeply in a SIPP. It appears to me that the company has had a great second half, perhaps slightly concerned that things will quieten down next year - we shall see. But maybe the key concern is, as highlighted by another poster a while back, that much of the benefit of the recent activity will accrue to the staff and not the shareholders. Thoughts anyone? | frazboy
16/12/2020 14:19 | This all rounds off a fairly successful year for Cenkos given the obvious COVID-19 challenges. Definite 3p dividend for the full year, but could well be 5p+. | topvest
16/12/2020 08:59 | Another US$46m raised. Hopefully more to come next year under the placing programme. About another US$1m fee though. | topvest
11/12/2020 17:44 | Cenkos have been appointed as joint broker (alongside existing Nomad/broker, Shore Capital) to RUA Life Sciences (RUA) and have acted as sole bookrunner on a £6m placing... | speedsgh
11/12/2020 07:44 | Confirmation of Salt Lake Potash (SO4) fundraising this morning. Note that Cenkos only acted as co-manager on the placing, therefore a smaller fee earned. Euroz Hartleys and Canaccord Genuity acted as joint lead managers and bookrunners... | speedsgh
10/12/2020 21:40 | Good news on Salt Lake Potash - a really good end to the year for Cenkos, it has to be said. | topvest
10/12/2020 11:04 | Ha ha ha . Zog is as thick as two short planks. This is what he wrote in March - since which time the share price has gone up by 125% and the dividend very much maintained. I wonder whether Zog would care to comment on what he wrote in March and just how badly wrong he was? His Post 3365 of 19th. March :- "How much cash does Cenkos have ? On b/sheet or for trading purposes Market cap is 17m right now The divi will be cancelled. Saves cash. But how much time does Cenkos have in terms of cash burn ? " It is clear for all to see that he has no idea at all about Cenkos nor the sector in which they operate. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
10/12/2020 10:41 | I’m afraid not Quepassa. You obviously do not understand the company | albert zog
10/12/2020 10:15 | 1. Colourful article page 24 today's FT, influential Lex Column. Cenkos features in article headed "UK mid-cap brokers: school of hard knocks". 2. Mr. Durkin returned from retirement and has done a great job in putting Cenkos back on an even keel and getting increasingly strong momentum going again . We now have an insider who knows the business back-to-front as the incoming CEO - and who is a deal-doer by background and highly motivated. This is positive news. I think it's a savvy appointment - good news for Cenkos - and good news for shareholders. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
10/12/2020 08:20 | Update on proposed Salt Lake Potash (SO4) fundraising. Cenkos are joint broker to the company alongside Hannam & Partners. AUD48m = approx £27m... Salt Lake Potash Limited ("Company") is pleased to advise that arrangements for a capital raising intended to raise approximately A$48 million at A$0.40 per share by way of placement with the ability to take oversubscriptions, and a share purchase plan to raise up to A$5 million are progressing well. 09/12/2020 22:04 | Disappointing to see Jim retire again. This new fella Morse is not of the same calibre. Quite divisive from what I’m told. Most Cenkos staff will leave if he can’t reassure them. Time to sell. I’m sure Jim will take some money off the table. Goodbye Jim | albert zog
09/12/2020 21:00 | I must have missed this £60m IPO. hxxps://heiq.com/wp- Another £0.5m or so of fees. | topvest
09/12/2020 20:37 | Jim Durkin is looking to go out with a very good recovery year. Provided Round Hill Music stick with Cenkos, then there are lucrative fees next year. This could well go to a US$1-2bn company very quickly and overtake Hignosis as arguably they have a better track record having been the original pioneer. | topvest
09/12/2020 20:34 | If this placing goes ahead and raises a few hundred million dollars then a positive ahead of forecast trading statement is a strong possibility. | topvest
09/12/2020 20:32 | No, I think its potentially big. As per the prospectus: Initial Placing and Offer for Subscription for a target issue of 375 million Ordinary Shares at US$1.00 per Ordinary Share Placing Programme for up to 750 million Ordinary Shares and/or C Shares | topvest
09/12/2020 10:57 | Cenkos are acting as joint broker (alongside newly-appointed Investec) for Eddie Stobart Logistics (ESL) on a conditional £9m Placing & Subscription + an Open Offer to raise up to an additional £7m... | speedsgh
09/12/2020 08:50 | tv, How many of the secondary placing shares are involved do you think? Originally Pipeline Investments had a valuation of US$363m The Initial Issue successfully raised US$282m million which together with its ability to utilise gearing of up to 25%, so maybe US$345m? That leaves about US$18m for the placing or around 5% of the issued share capital. Would that be ball park? | carcosa
09/12/2020 08:34 | Durkin is retiring. Hope they keep the business coming in. | mattboxy
09/12/2020 08:33 | Disappointing that Jim Durkin is retiring though - just seen that. | topvest
