Further to tanneg's post #2526 on 28/9, Civitas Social Housing (CSH) have managed to raise £302m via the Open Offer, Placing, Offer for Subscription and Intermediaries Offer of C Shares. They were targeting to raise £350m. Cenkos acted as Sponsor, Financial Adviser and Sole Bookrunner for the fundraising...

Lets see ... from Boo Boy to Ramper having previously sold Cenkos at the top at 225 ... now an edited post on NAH ..... having been made laughing stock over there with Boo Boy predictions ... to of course previously having owned NAH and sold at the top ....

... tell me you next trade on Cenkos QP - because I'll do the opposite and make some more money.

glaws - Thanks for that. I see Edison have the Hurricane $530m* (£400m) falling in H2. By my estimates Cenkos have helped to raise £466m (of which Civitas was £350m) in addition to that already on the Edison list for H2. So H2 to date it looks like they have raised c£1bn, in excess of the £702m raised in H1.

* Cenkos will have shared fees with Stifel Nicolaus Europe who acted as joint bookrunner on the Hurricane fundraising.

Yep. CNKS revs do tend to be lumpy. No sign of involvement in IPOs but seem to be doing OK in H2 fundraisings for existing clients. Recent Civitas placing was material. Not sure whether Hurricane placing/convertible bonds fell in H1 or H2?

Doesn't look like CNKS are involved in any of the IPO's lined up for this Autumn. Quite a number lined up but CNKS not named for any one of them.

Another update by Simon Thompson in his IC column today with a maintained BUY recommendation (TP 150p)...



...rated on a modest eight times earnings estimates, and with the forecast final dividend of 6.5p a share equating to over 6 per cent of the current share price alone, and cash and trading positions equating to 60 per cent of the share price, in my book the profit taking has gone too far. Buy.
