I Think the big new owners (americians and russian billionaires) of the english top clubs will want Celtic and Rangers in the Premiership, its only a matter of time....money speaks all lanuages

If Cardiff are promoted for next season, will they still call the top league the English Premiership? Does anyone agree this highlights the arguement that Celtic could have a route to their prefered playground?

81m ordinary shares x 27.25p= £22m 16.8m preference shares = £4.578m 18m convertible preference shares = £19m Total market cap of Celtic Plc £45.5m. Mick ---------------------------- So if we look at Celtic being somewhere in the region of Liverpool's £300m valuation as reported at the weekend that would mean a significant increase on the current ordinary share price. On 81 million ordinary shares the £300m valuation would put each ordinary share at a value of 341.4p. That is over ten times the current value. A bit of a simplistic calculation I know but more evidence of the undervaluation in the current price.

Mick That was my understanding too about the stadium, its only about 10 years old and over 60,000 capacity. Liverpools new stadium is going to cost around £200m. In my opinion CCP is seriously undervalued afterall they`ve the secound largest footfall for any club in britan after man utd.........if they were in a british league they would at least equal utd on the supporter front and they were sold for nearly 20 times Celtic`s mkt cap

bottom line is they are one of the largest clubs and certainly one of the best supported clubs in the world. If they were to sell the naming rights to their stadium it would generate half their current mkt cap. Mick Do you know if their stadium is fully owned and paid off? thanks

Louie One of the issues I brought up with the club secetary the other week and as far as i can make out, this is near spot on. 81m ordinary shares x 27.25p= £22m 16.8m preference shares, these may trade at around 85p because of the dividend but still convertible on a one for one issue so as far as market cap goes = £4.578m 18m convertible preference shares, originally these were issued at £1.25 with a built in safety factor of converting into ordinary shares in August 2007 at maximum ratio of 3.125 for one. Due to share issue, this ratio is now around 3.9 or just over 32p or 70m shares = £19m Total market cap of Celtic Plc £45.5m. Mick
