25/3/2004 23:15 | Nothing remotely jammy about it. Brilliant goalkeeping and brilliant defending. Possible penalty for them cancelled out by the fact that Ronaldhino should have been sent off. Well done Celtic. Fantastic performance. | peterquint

25/3/2004 23:05 | Seanyboy, Settle down with celtic being one of the ten richest sides in the world and like it or not Celtic are from Scotland and can not pick and choose which league they play in! Just be glad you have a half decent team and a new stadium, I remember going to parkhead in the 80's and the transformation since then is something else. All this cost money though and since you haven't exactly set the heather on fire in the champions league the potential to make real money has alluded you. Don't know your current debt but know it's no where near the huns, large signings and huge wages though are a thing of the past for both of you. Mediocrity in a poor league beckon and the old firm must take a share of the blame, to many clubs tried to chase the dream instead of living within there means. That coupled with the old firm stealing the best of Scotlands talent for pennies from the other clubs has led to an uneven playing field, ok if you enjoy winning week in week out, not so good if you want a better league. Also the fact that so many fans(gloryhunters)fr Anyway well done again for the draw tonight, great result for Celtic and Scottish co-effiency. If the huns pull the finger out we may get three champion league places eventually. | linda47
25/3/2004 22:51 | Very jammy but well done from a sheepshagger, better you's lot than the huns. | linda47
25/3/2004 22:45 | The young lad Marshall was out of this world tonight....Let us march with O'Neill to a foreign battlefield.....la la | dundanion
25/3/2004 16:39 | No matter what happens tonite keep cool with your Tic shares. You can be sure if they lose the MM's will take a swipe and understandable. If they go through then they will cost you an arm and a leg - again understandable. However just remember no matter what, the Celtic story is longer term and at long last the club are beginning to tap into the global market. The forthcoming tour of the States will be their second in as many years and as we all know Celtic have a huge following over there which should bring in a lot of revenue from merchandising and perhaps much needed investment from some of Mr Desmonds associates. CNN Sports today featured the 10 richest clubs in the world - Celtic were not included! Amazing and unforgivable when you think of the huge global support that they have. However the important thing is that this has not gone unnoticed by the new financial gurus at the club and I am confident that the club will be transformed in financial terms very soon. Success on the field is of-course vital as is a move out of the current league. All in good time no doubt but you will not be buying their shares at 70p when it eventually happens. I hold Celtic shares surprise surprise DYOR | seanyboy
25/3/2004 08:23 | I'll second that Sapphire. Its going to be very tough and we will need a bit of luck but the bhoys can do it. Mon the celts Mick | mickinvest

16/3/2004 11:32 | What % shareholding does Desmond have in CCP? | meenan
16/3/2004 11:05 | Mick, There has been a breakout and I am not talking about the maze! The quid could be breached sooner than I was thinking. Did you do your research on SGP? I cannot tell you a lot but I have a hunch something is going down there - hopefully not the share price! Is it possible the Porto boss has shares in CCP - what with his recent comments? | seanyboy
12/3/2004 23:37 | Sean How high do you rate SGP? Just looked at the trades, nice tight spread (52.5-52.75p)but never heard of the company in my puff. I'm quite happy if we make this a Celtic supportersshare tipping thread along with all the Celtic stuff. Nice to see our shares up 2.5p and expect them to rise further on Monday. Mick | mickinvest
12/3/2004 11:34 | Hi ya Mick, Good old Fayrewood eh! Thats a blast from the past! Will revisit just coz you mentioned it. I might also suggest you take a blink at SGP - ready to pop? Now we really should keep this thread for CCP investors and yes last nite was fantastic! I watched it in Charlie P's, Vienna - real blast. However now the dust, or should I say mud, has settled I must say Barc should have been 2 up at half time. They could easily turn the tables in two weeks time especailly since Bo Bo will be absent. But this is part of the enigma I talk about - with Celtic you never know! I will be in the Nou Camp doing my part as usual and needless to say a favourable result there would see the share price tease the quid. Now that would be nice! | seanyboy
12/3/2004 11:18 | Morning Sean I see the price has ticked up a couple of pence this morning. I still retain around 15k but sold most of them recently when 72-74 was been given. Will look to add when the time is right, don't expect I could buy many without moving the price up so will wait for now. Still have most of the farm in JKX oil for now and picked up couple lots of 5k in Fayrewood this morning so see if that can bounce back. 2nd leg will be tough but lets enjoy last nights result and hope big Chris is fit for the return. Mick | mickinvest
12/3/2004 00:37 | I was on the afternoon of the draw, think they went from £29 or £39 to £250 or there abouts. Thats capitalism for you, I'll wait to next week to sort things out and hopefully get booked up but no ticket yet . Mick | mickinvest
12/3/2004 00:17 | Looks like Roma are struggling therefore next round would see us favourites Jamie. Time to rest players now and stick young marshall between the posts this weekend. With Marshall, kennedy, Pearson, Beattie expected to play Sunday, looks like I'll need to wait to see young McGeady grace the 1st team for another few weeks :>( Mick | mickinvest
12/3/2004 00:11 | Nice one tonight lads, if we can get through the return could go all the way again! | jamiedodger |
