Interesting snippet. Perhaps CLTV is now aware of an opportunity that they were unaware of - hence their statement "The Company will issue a further statement if and when appropriate".

A bit of excitement today i see. I think Cellcast have a few cards up their sleeves yet to get the share price moving without the need for the ramping squad to be called.

Google won’t be buying Cellcast

Cellcast is in the business of interactive TV, and odd path for Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL), (NASDAQ:GOOGL) to go down at this point in its life. The firm is behind TV features that allow a watcher to enter competitions, and vote on some reality TV shows in exchange for a small payment.

Cellcast is also in possession, according tot he rumors doing the rounds on Monday of tech related to internet calls. Google launched Project Fi this summer. The wireless carrier aims to lower the price of putting together a cell network by using Wi Fi in order to make calls when possible.

The Cellcast tech for making calls over the internet could fit into that mold, and the small size of the firm, despite being traded on the public market, makes it just the sort of concern that Google eats up on a regular basis. Too bad nobody told the board members that there was a hint of a deal.

Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL), (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is not buying Cellcast, at least not according to the board of the firm. The rumor on Monday morning does give some insight, however, into the tension surrounding the firm’s recent mutation.

IMHO what happened this morning will repeat itself several times. £25-50k worth of traded shares will be enough to produce +/- 50% swings. Beer money if you time it right :-)) GL to all

IMHO at current MCAP and number of shares issued the share price could go up very steeply should the pump 'n' dump brigade arrive......worth a punt of a few hundred quid ;-) DYOR and GL

It maybe the case like the last rumour with Sony, which turned out to be the sale of a channel to Sony and a bagfull of cash for Cellcast. Some of todays rumour may have some grounds as news is due on the overseas gaming front.

I found this below after a bit of a sniff around on the 3i site.

TechnologyArdvark's insight:

Cellcast UK - a leading provider of participatory television programming and interactive telephony technology for the fast growing cross-platform digital entertainment is currently in advanced talks with U.S. giant Google Inc. The deal, which will see Google using Cellcast's internet telephony technology for it's upcoming online gaming platform will transform Cellcast into a Tier-1 provider. Google are also said to be interested in using Cellcast's online content technology to streamline projects.

Cellcast's core strengths are constantly put into use as a leading UK provider of participatory programming, a technology partner for third parties and an investor in dynamic new ventures that benefit from our experience, know-how and position as a quoted company.

Discussions have been ongoing since Friday and will continue today. The deal, said to be worth £22m over the next 2 years, would be transformational for the UK stock exchange listed company. All things going well it would generate £8m per annum thereafter in years 3 & 4.

Cellcast currently trades at 1.10p as at close on the 13th August 2015 giving it a market capitalisation of £850k. The recent results for 2014 showed annual revenue of £12.2m and net profit of £2.9m, which sees the current price undervalued even without the Google deal.

We give Cellcast UK a very achievable 35p target short term with the Google deal.

I always get nervous when companies, especially small ones, take until June to announce the figures for the year ending the previous December, hope to see some numbers soon

Good news indeed, but I wonder if it is behind the curve of the falling revenue?

Good to have renegotiated past as well as future costs, but if that is in effect a reduction of debtors why not confirm the figure to allow re-analysis of previous figures?
