Be nice if they have an order to fill. About time. Maybe CDS have a couple of the right size rigs booked in now? I wonder when we'll hear about them? Soon I suspect if your expectations prove correct Rodders.

MMS upped the offer this morning, no trades showing but now bidding up to 2.45p for 250K+ and offering only 10K at the price. DYOR

Paraguay is hot right now and ıt's not just the time of year either!
If CDS and co hit paydirt Petrobras of Brazil will be all over them lıke a rash. They have already expressed interest according to Hector Ruiz Diaz, Energy Minister, on a Sth American news site last year. Petrobras, and a few others methinks!
O&G exist either side of border in Bolivia and Brazil and Paraguay shares the same structures and formations! Probably dreaming mate!

Valentine, your comment about the Swiss is also the reason why I am encouraged and holding. It is a bit like RPT but on a fraction of the scale, you don't walk into a disaster area with hard cash unless your pretty sure there is a way out and the risk was worth taking. I think that Des is right, drilling dates will give the share price a nudge and then it is simply a question of whether you wait for the results, if they turn out to be good and they hit something commercial, it will will definitely be pay day.

I'm long this through a decent stake in WTE so will be hoping that you guys do well. A nightmare start last year but the new shareholders obviously see quite a bit of value. Will be lurking on this thread from time to time.

I'm nearly even. Been watchingand waiting for a long time. Should ahve got more at 1.5 or thereabouts. It may be your best ever Clunes if they hit their target. The Swiss are confident about something.
It may be a while until they get to the objective though. Waiting on info about drilling dates now, which should have more effect on share price

I bought CDS as a bit of fun and prepared to wait a long time and potentially loose my stake, now showing 117% increase in share price in several months and unquestionably the best performer in my portfolio this year. I only wish it were expertise that helped me pick this one and not just luck!

Interesting late in day announcement.
CDS were frıendless a few months ago.
Something must have affected the Swiss to jump in so substantially.
Presumably the new consortium with 59.9% equity have rights to both areas and, of course, any others CDS may have their eye on.
I wonder how long the significance will take to percolate through to the market?
A RNS updating us on the new-CDS intentions would be welcome now.

Boqueron Concession Farm-in Option Cancelled by CDS


On 30 April 2007 Black Rock Oil & Gas PLC (stock code: BLR), the UK-based
exploration company, announced that it had executed an agreement with CDS Oil &
Gas Group plc ("CDS"), whereby Black Rock had a 100 day option to farm-in down
to the Carboniferous zone in the Boqueron Concession granted to CDS located in
north-west Paraguay (the "Option"). CDS had the right to terminate the Option in
the event that there was a change in control of CDS. Black Rock was informed on
4 June 2007 by CDS that CDS had elected to cancel the Option following the
announcement made by CDS on 18 May 2007 whereby a group of investors will take
up a 59.9% equity stake in CDS.


Dr. John Cubitt, Managing Director, said:


"We will continue to consider other opportunities in the region as part of our
strategy to increase our presence in selected Latin American countries. In the
meantime, Black Rock continues to focus on developing its current Colombian and
North Sea assets."

A few more substantial trades today. Did I perceive a rise at the close, or am I imagining it?
Those new rigs must be rumbling into place. They can afford the right calibre now. One for each well? How long before they go into action is the question? Not too long I am assured.
