04/9/2013 20:57 | So that looks like $4.6m of plant extract going to Lansen. Presumably they - Lansen - are expecting to find buyers. Just another $25.4m to go then. | grahamg8
30/8/2013 10:32 | Well the Interims are out. Lansen and the Hotel seem to be doing pretty well. Haotian on the verge of breakthrough. As I read it 1500Tpa Inositol at $20/kg equates to a completely new revenue stream of $30mpa; compared to the whole of Lansen of $46.4m in H1. Botai still have a way to go before becoming commercial. Happy to hold. | grahamg8
30/8/2013 07:58 | No sign of those interims. Should we be worred? | grahamg8

25/1/2011 12:41 | Mark Slater - December 2010: The Fund acquired its investment in Cathay International very cheaply in the immediate aftermath of the financial crisis. The company is listed on AIM and owns three main businesses –the CrownePlaza Hotel in Shenzhen (worth about 11p per share net of debt); 51% of Lansen, a fast-growing pharmaceutical group now listed in Hong Kong (worth 15p per share); and 100% of HaotianGroup, which aims to supply 20-25% of the world's inositol(an ingredient in pharmaceuticals, foods and healthcare products). Cathay also has about 1p per share in net cash. Haotian'sbook cost for Cathay is about 7p per share though the value is much greater. Production should start Q1 2011 and profits could reach $20m per annum rapidly. Cathay also owns several more embryonic businesses which target rapidly growing niche markets in China. | simon gordon

21/5/2010 15:59 | A few fools selling today. Most shareholders should wait for a good pick up, in this well managed company. | pugdog
06/5/2010 23:10 | Its time will come - just look at the last placing - very little PR and liqiduity etc. Raised £27m at virtually no discount- that to me tells the story. | looky |
