CMX should be a buy at these levels but I guess that everyone has had enough of squandered opportunities and bad decision making, me included. We need some positive trading news from SIS.

Thing is it does not matter if it's 100/200 or 300 million it means the stake is worth some serious money. So either stick with them and if the current dividend is maintained then they will be debt free in 4 years and have a stake worth at least 20 million or sell it in the near future and become a cash rich shell. Hope i can get some on any weakness.

2centrat & Morgs The figure of £20m is, I expect, 1 yrs earnings, hence the note. The price BetFred paid was not a market vlaue price. With the growth of SIS I assume a multiple of 15, so value of SIS £300m - any other views?

>2centrat I wish that was one years earnings! Bet Fred paid 1.9m for 1.67%, which makes SIS worth £118m I don't think CMX has any other assets now other than the SIS holding. When are they going to rename this Catalyst Investment Holdings ! There is a chance that CMX could be debt free in 3 years

Noticed this stock earlier but have no position. A couple of questions. Is that payment from one years earnings from SIS ? Thing is if they recieved 2 million then the total divi was 10 million which makes total earnings 20 million, again if correct then what value on a company that makes 20 million profits...200 million maybe, then that would make CMX stake worth 40 million ? With debts of 6.8mil and market cap of 4 mil (if correct) then that would make (in theory) this stock a real play but again i'm expecting some of the holders to correct me and say i've made several mistakes here.

tonyx > Spot on with 2p and with the way that the split worked you are right! Still not prepared to get this share out of my bottom draw, but it has just given it a last minute reprieve from the bin!

Strange that no trades (buys) are shown at 0.6p level. I was offered at 0.58p before the first rise just shortly after 8am. I didn't buy but surely others must have.

Its good they paid debt off with the divi and not squandered it on some dodgy deal.

I noticed the increase yesterday, but could still buy at mid of .5p, so just thought it was MM games.

I had this one on my TD account at 0.58p to buy on a T20 immediately after 8am. I didn't press the button to trade. Bottled out. Regretting my decision now. Good luck to anyone who got in at that same price.

ITs just a shame about that 2,000,000,000 shares at .5p, that must be a bit of a drag on the chances of a good rise.

Catalyst Media Group Plc ("CMG" or the "Company") SIS Dividend Policy CMG is pleased to announce that the board of Satellite Information Services (Holdings) Limited ("SIS"), of which CMG owns 20.51%, has adopted a formal dividend policy such that at least 50% of retained earnings are to be paid out on an annual basis subject to cash flow requirements. On 2 August 2007, in line with this dividend policy, the SIS board approved a dividend of £10 million in respect of the retained earnings brought forward balance as at 31 March 2007, of which CMG will receive £2.05 million, payable by 31 August 2007. The dividend will be applied in full to the repayment of the Company's facility with Investec Bank (UK) Limited, which will bring the balance owing to under £3 million. The Company's total indebtedness after this repayment will then be reduced to under £6.8 million.

plus the tax asset, handy to have some losses in the property world. Obviously this is just pure speculation... The Market Cap is north of £10m, so error on this board's market cap.
