03/1/2018 09:03 | 500 tons of crude per day equals 3500 bopd! Once A5 is back in full production and the rest of the producing wells can manage 6500 bopd between them we can be thinking about putting up the 'For Sale' sign! That is Clive's take on things anyway and I can see no reason why the family who own CASP would object if it brings then a good profit. | harrissen
03/1/2018 08:39 | According to Clive's last broadcast the news should be starting to kick off from here on. I look forward to an update RNS before close on Friday. | harrissen
02/1/2018 17:15 | Thanks Steve.Toggle, if they had great news we'd have it today. Cheo,Not sure what happened to your expected news. Let's hope that you're right re the crew skill level when dealing with drilling fluid issues. | xclusive2
02/1/2018 15:20 | Its just ADVFN who change the initial to Hxxp:/ to stop traffic draining away. Very internet 2001! Its interesting that Clive is coming out to present here. Might suggest he is expecting news coming through in January? | davidblack

02/1/2018 12:22 | Last time I paid for an RNS it was I think £175 per release and that was by PR Newswire. The market for releases is now "Competitive" and has been since 2008 I think? On issuing a release it normally takes two days to get everyone's sign off if its "Not urgent" anything urgent can be as quick as a couple of hours. The other thing is most RNS's are planned weeks prior with the event when it turns up merely providing the facts to go into the already substantially pre-written release. If it wasn't like that everyone would go mad! | davidblack
02/1/2018 11:07 | RE X2 ' Each RNS has to be approved / sent for advice to a number of bodies. Even with modern communications there is still the time difference (UTC +6) and public holidays to take into account. If discussion is required this can take time (One party can be at morning coffee and another having afternoon tea. In the holiday season offices may be staffed by junior staff who have to refer to their seniors). ‘ Companies may be charged for a simple RNS in range of £500 to £1,000 ‘ For Caspian Sunrise these bodies in UK which may be involved Nominated Adviser and Broker WH Ireland Financial PR/– Tim Thompson Yellow Jersey Lawyers UK Fladgate | togglebrush
02/1/2018 10:17 | ToggleB,I don't think that makes any difference re releasing news.If the company had material news to issue I'm sure they'd release it. A5 is the primary news item as success here gives credibility to the deep programme, regardless of what they've got going on with 801,A6 etc.I sense issues again with A5 as I know they'd have been gagging to kick off 2018 with a bang, let's hope I'm way off base . | xclusive2

01/1/2018 13:39 | timber, haha i see what you did there! et al, let's recap the latest company line and the very pathetic but by now more than expected misses. slide 24 of the 21 nov presentation was headed "November/December 2017 Newsflow" and stated the following: A5 ▪ Commencement of 90 day day flow test ▪ Periodic updates ▪ Reserve estimates A6 ▪ Further attempts to open and test 801 ▪ Further attempts to open and test 146 ▪ Testing MJF and South Yelemes ▪ Production volumes ▪ Reserve updates what we actually got was confirmation that a5 flow test was started followed by a sorry attempt to pretend it hadn't actually started until more problems sorted out. on the bright side, 2018 performance just has to be better. also perhaps the theory of fiscally motivated selling by kaz holders prior to the new year was correct and selling pressure will now abate. | konil
01/1/2018 11:20 | Lets hope so chaps been a long time coming. | bullinachinashop3
01/1/2018 10:23 | Happy New year to all, as Smarty say's this will be the year, after a decade of faffing about we are now on the casp of a decent market cap. | timberwolf3
31/12/2017 20:54 | Hallow,You'll send yourself potty trying to decipher our Carverspeak. Next year starts in 3 hours, 'The Year Of Casper'.Wishing all investors a Happy and prosperous 2018. | xclusive2
31/12/2017 16:40 | Clive you said this 9 months ago, on 29 March 2017, it's time for you to tell us what is going on, 29 March 2017 'We're sitting on something pretty special', says Caspian Sunrise chairman Clive Carver. | hallow
30/12/2017 15:24 | You need to hear the CEO speak, he really doesn’t sound like a man looking to sell on. I think he believes there is a lot more here than we are currently factoring in. The second deeper target on next years A8 well being one thing that could make a material change. The other was a likely horizontal redrill of an old well 54 at South Yelemes. Either of those if succcessful might deliver a paradigm shift in what this acreage is worth. But first they need to get busy with the drill! | davidblack
30/12/2017 10:37 | So does this mean CASP will be up for sale on reaching 10000 bopd production? Achievable in 'months not years' according to Clive. Are we talking 50p or more within the next 6 months then? Caspian Sunrise Caspian Sunrise Chairman Clive Carver gives us an in-depth update on exploration and strategy in Kazakhstan. A flow test is to start within days on the 3500 bpd A5 deep well, with Clive ‘disappointed& | harrissen
29/12/2017 13:06 | 400k trade disclosed 10.43p and that was probably the one that sent the price to a 10.38 mid price yet the market was trading at 10.07 - 10.2. The price hasn't dropped today it's reflecting the correct market price. Most odd ! | xclusive2
29/12/2017 11:00 | Agreed Captain, please no bad news. The sentiment here is bad enough on good news! The upside of that is at some point that bad sentiment will turn and when it does we should see this double on very little news. That catalyst is probably production reaching 10,000+ But that requires the tubing to work. Hopefully sooner than later! | davidblack
29/12/2017 10:31 | Captain - if there was any bad news, today would be the day to release it. | timberwolf3
29/12/2017 09:58 | As long as the news its not stuck coil tubing 8( | captainfatcat
29/12/2017 09:29 | Clearly any news, if there is some of course, now being held till 2nd of Jan. Much better than wasting a nice RNS on a dead half day between Christmas and New Year. Maybe they are thinking a bit more strategically? Ok that might be hopeful analysis, truth is “No News!” But having said that I prefer it being in January to kick off the New Year. | davidblack
29/12/2017 09:25 | A funny old game. Maybe our Clive's listening re issuing news at 16.29 or leaving to the New Year. I don't care as long as it's the right flavour and it would be very disappointing not to update market as per the latest operational timetable.DB,You're getting used to Carverspeak (-: and poor expectation setting. | xclusive2
28/12/2017 22:15 | Very happy not to have news until end of play or on the 2nd Jan unless it's poor news of course and can dump it in 2017 ! | xclusive2 |
