16/12/2017 06:55 | Three years ago, the used fluid came in and blocked the liner. Because after 15 days the pressure dropped. The distance between the two pipes is 100m. | cheol9812

15/12/2017 19:21 | timber, link to interview - thanks. has opened the door for more a5 drilling mud delays - they are looking for 90 clear days flowtest to maximise cpr reserves. ok, that's good, but they may not get 90 consecutive clear days for the next 3 years until drilling mud completely cleared! still saying 801 by year end, or maybe early jan, because only 200m to drill. ok, good! how much salt to take with it??? | konil
15/12/2017 16:35 | There was a good post over on LSE from yesterday by Rhertig, I'm sure he won't mind sharing it here. It gave me a little bit of reassurance: CC I asked a petroleum engineer to look at this company. He won't invest in Kazakhstan but gave me his opinion. He felt A5 would increase it's flow as the mud clears. He also expected as the mud flowed in the beginning to intermittently slow the flow and put it as high probability of filling up the well bore and choking off the flow of oil. He stated it might have to be repumped. It looks to me like he knows what he is talking about as this has come to pass. For me this is not unexpected. Now I just hope they don't drop the tubing down the well. | steveh8

15/12/2017 13:09 | Toggle,I meant to say 'Director' purchase from our Clive. Would like to see him put some of his skin in the game. | xclusive2
15/12/2017 12:13 | x2: Directions purchases, like Lord of the Earl of Limerick who took a large wedge of the Free Float at the time, just concentrate holdings to a select few. KO, who is acting in traditional Kazak role of Founder/Owner, are even less likely to keep the Private Investors in the picture. ' FWIW_____Apparent spread between Buys and Sells has increased in last two days by my calc | togglebrush
15/12/2017 09:33 | ...lol, I'm with you there. If you can believe what's being communicated then the future is still rosy. They have over egged the commentary by saying that they could get 2 deeps flowing as 801 stuck pipes weren't moving and I believe they knew that. The fact is that we have a successful shallow campaign and 3 deeps in play with a 4th being spudded before year end.A5 - Flowed at 3800 bopd, now 1000, needs coil tubing to clean up801 - Good news that sidetrack about to start, 30 day as easier and shorter sidetrack than A5A6 - Re-complete bottom section and reperforate in Q1A8 spud 146 - Re-perforateThe news flow is probably going to be on a weekly basis as there is so much going on. If you believe their commentary then this is going to fly on the success case, the only issue for me is their credibility, A5 fixes this,Still like our Clive and fellow directors to buy a few. | xclusive2
15/12/2017 08:59 | Smarty Been sitting this out every Xmas since Santa's elves were in nappies | hotdeal
15/12/2017 08:18 | K,I think we both know how inconsistent their communication can be hence our Carverspeak.Your paranoia is shared by many but I believe that the game is very much on but we are hounded by op issues. I don't want to see coil getting stuck, couldn't retrieve it, lost it or cut it off !I've nailed the colours and will sitbit out again ! | xclusive2
15/12/2017 06:23 | Yesterday was one of the busiest trading days of the year. Traded volume was around 5th of the year but the number of trades at some 130 plus trades was the best we have seen. Share price was lowest in the first minutes of trading and then trended upwards and on an occasion breaching the nominal price of shares issued in merger (9.75). ' There is a difference between the total volume of individual trades listed by the Stock Exchange and the final daily volumes given in summaries. That difference is some 1.5 million shares. I guess those were shares for sale already on the market makers books. One possibility is that opportunity was made to dump shares before a forthcoming a clients tax deadline. In other words there was an overhang in the market and a clients urgent need to sell. Added to that, that the in day positive share price trend, it is just possible that the overhang of shares in the market has been cleared which is normally considered a good thing. 14/12/2017 23:27 | Been mostly sat on the side lines watching stuff but I liked today's update. Picked up 150k early on at an average of just over 9p | control1
14/12/2017 23:04 | if I had powerful friends who needed to sell lots of shares because tax laws were changing how would I go about it.first I would do lots of interviews telling the word and his wife that everything in the garden was rosy this would promote lots of buying that my friends could sell into. then I would slip in a bit of negative news so that after the tax laws were changed my friends could buy back in cheaply before the expected rise.leopards and spots my friends leopards and spots.don't say I did not warn you.see post 2170 | roy1982
14/12/2017 15:59 | I cant figure this out. The pre test was done before the Russian experts started the test if so, how? If the Russians did it why it did not tell us in the last RNS. | sue999
14/12/2017 12:24 | Are you Missing the point deliberately? The point of the flow test is to be able to make a case for the highest reserves possible in the CPR with the aim of getting to more than 700mboip. That gives us the long production licence not the shorter 29 year one. So why wouldn’t you want to give yourselve the best run at the problem? | davidblack
14/12/2017 11:38 | Must admit although I was happy with their stated 3800bpd have never heard of a pre test before, not a 15 day one anyway? | bad gateway
14/12/2017 11:31 | Agreed Konil. I for one am documenting everything in the unfortunate case that we are indeed being strung along. If that were the case and enough of us cared I'd imagine a good corporate lawyer would be be able to build a good case against the company with the known facts so far. Hope it doesn't come to this but we'll worth collating 'evidence'. | evilblues
14/12/2017 10:58 | "For 15 days before the formal start of the 90-day flow test the well flowed 3,800 bopd" which should have filled 19 Road Oil Tankers a day and put quite a few thousand Tenge and dollars in the bank, A useful contribution just before the company's Accounting YEAR End on 31st December 2017 | togglebrush |
