Just looked up the meaning of contempt


contempt

the feeling that a person or a thing is worthless or beneath consideration.

Is something big about to happen to our tightly held Caspian Sunrise shares, we live in hope of a good outcome.

Clive, Tim and Mr Shin (all a great group of guys in my opinion, 3 of the best oil executives we have had the pleasure to meet ) are still not telling us what they are sitting on.

The wait goes on. and we still live in hope of a big announcement.

There is still life in the old dog providing MJF continues to build revenue and they get SY online. In the absence of a barge rental and a deep success, this is in the slow lane and they will have to partner if they want to continue the deep dream. BNG charge result will also help but they can't continue spending on deeps and hoping for success. Looking forward to the fracking strategy from Mr Shin and it wouldn't surprise me if they're not using that approach on 154.

Et al,

As i keep saying, our KO and chums want/need success more than any investor and i'm hoping that is driving him to an eventual lucrative exit but we need the deeps for that.

First time I traded this share was 19 June 2009 when I bought 17,196 Roxi Petroleum shares at 11.63.

There was a week at the end of May 2019, Annual Results time, which was the last time I could have sold that tranche, now Caspian Sunrise, at a very simple break even.

Foolishly I didn’t. You have to a have dream, if you don’t have a dream, how can you have a dream come true. I am still dreaming. May be this time ???

K,I'm disappointed no regulatory update on BNG and the SY deferral to Q3. That deferral didn't make sense to me as it drives taxation revenues for the authorities ? I have a little concern that things aren't great on the regulatory front and maybe the court challenge is not being well received by the Tokayev regime and hence the SY deferral ?Without the BNG charge/SY licence resolution, they will limp along doing the low cost operational projects. The deep success or boat rental are the catalysts to revenue generation but without them the only option is to partner with someone, something I think they'll do.Going to be slow progress I fear.

whatever the ar tells us, its mostly a historical record, so while interesting it wont help shine a light on the future, and whatever positive noises they make in the ar about future plans...well, given the record here over the years what will that be worth?

the dire lack of op news of late suggests we will at some point either

(a) get a stupendous surprise announcement of a deep success or some other equally value accretive corporate development

or

(b) grind on for a further inordinately long time bouncing along in the corporate doldrums.

Thanks for posting Toggle.

I'm expecting revenue decline due to Crude and the shut in SY. Crude dropped 35% from average of $64 to $42 in 2020 and domestic price crash not helped. The positive is that they received export prices for c 60% of oil at MJF v only 3 months in 2019. My guess is that revenue in 2020 declined to $9m and not much they could've done about that and we can then forecast numbers inc SY as a comparison. Will be interesting to see the costs too and the % reduction.

Evening Hallow ,Now theres a coincidence Flawless fronting a share on the slide!! ...I think they HURwon their case today or have a reprieve. I dont fully understand it all.Seen Hank at the Royal Albert Hall, his guest was Cliff The women went mad for him. Surged to the stage like the arrival of John the Baptist.One couple had specifically come from Norway in the hope of seeing Cliff and that was billed as a unannounced special guest ..ie was Cliff.....but we have Three Special Amigos.........Caspian Watchers know them by Tim, Clive and Mr Shin.....We wait for that special announcement.

Even the great Bert Weedon won't be playing in a day again he's been laid to rest in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire in April 2012 at the age of 91. A fine age for our Bert by anybody's standards.
