They never learn with their communication. Yes it's a small debt but let's have the detail. This is a listed company and being run like a small business where the management make decisions without consultation. The second question, £70k !! that's pocket change and why not pay in cash ? They can't be that cash strapped at current oil prices unless they're lying about net backs and domestic oil is improving. It's not cash for me it's the communication and I will be writing to Carver , Nomad and LSE as it's not Kuat's company but he uses it as if it is. Sharpen up Casper as minority shareholders can cause issues !!

Is this where we spin it to suggest the creditor must have been happy to take the shares?

But one day soon Clive, Tim Field specially appointed Director now in charge of Mergers and Acquisitions, and Mr Shin will tell us long suffering Caspian Sunrise investors everything we want to know. No change in our beloved Caspian Sunrise shares today but we live in hope jamesey3 of something big about to happen.

Agree re the easing up on tiddlers. They should be helping with appeal, prod licence award and licence commitments. More money in the Casp coffers = more drilling and taxation for Kaz ! Re Barge, no not dredging, maintenance services. Water too shallow for normal hulls, we have the answer !!

is it a dredger? thought it was a shallow water drill rig? could it be both? anyway if kaz are as pro oil as article suggests they need to ease up on the tiddlers like casp and provide a supporting environment. ha!

That's why they need a barge ?? Why aren't Caspian offering their services if dredging not complete for a year ?

$12 won't be a loss, CC stated that they were probably break even, maybe a small loss @ $6. The domestic sales are minimal and exports are key. CC stated that the authorities had agreed export increases so in my book, that's up to 70% but even at 60, their revenue/profit should be better than anytime historically. Will never defend their ineptitude and the accounts will tell the story. We invested for deep success and was hoping that Shin would publish his plan but hey, pigs might fly.

its not clear to me but domestic sales at $12.4 are probably running at a loss so netback would be negative? also, probably not achieving 65% export, feb update suggested 55% to 60%. nonetheless willing to accept my numbers may be on the low side for export sales. makes little difference though because the big ticket items seem as far away as ever. resolution of the bng charge would be a big step giving them a funding boost to correct their operational ineptitude so far.

I come out with a much higher number !!. From shareholders questions, net back from $40 oil = $31 after costs, $23.5 after tax. Processing and transportation will be the same, tax @ 18.75% = $48 netbacks on export. 1300bopd 65% Export ? = 845bopd = $1233pm/ $14,796 pa Domestic @ $12, don't know netback but if we say $8 ? that's another $1m pa. I haven't looked at gross receipts for 2019 year where average production was similar @ 1388bopd (Toggle) but production licence not awarded until Sep 2019 so revenues would've been far lower with Domestic sales @ $18/19. Add to this the cost cutting and reduced operational spend, i expect to see a far better financial position. Yep, MJF $800k per qtr is damaging speed of operations and they could drill a few more shallows pa but we're still waiting. The MJF charge will be a boost as it gives them the chance to increase operations/revenue but we need a result from a deep or barge rental to see the real catalyst to share price appreciation. Yawwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Market still well bid with 550k max sell @ 2.33p and 250k buy @ 2.394p. Still nobody has a scooby as to the future but there is one bit of good news, they're not going pop ! 2020 Finals will be interesting to see the effect of Covid but i suspect far better than many expect. 2021 managements should be the best since incorporation, especially with healthy crude price, reduced costs and returning a profit.

rns 5th feb " Assessed BNG historic costs We continue to appeal against the BNG historic costs of $32 million to be paid quarterly over 10 years, which have been levied entirely against the MJF structure, despite that structure represent only 1% of the total BNG Contract Area. We look forward to the case being considered by the Kazakh authorities later this month. In the meantime we prepare to pay the next quarterly payment. " and " Deep Well A8 Our intention is to fracture and complete the well at the current 4,500 meter depth, which we expect will take two months. In the event this does not result in commercial quantities of oil we plan to drill a further 800 meters to the original Devonian target at a depth of 5,300 meters. " above 2 items way past expected dates but no update. and new mjf shallow wells performing poorly and very slow bringing further shallow wells on line, so unlikely to see the step changes in production originally hoped for. could deep well a8 surprise to the upside in near term from fracturing? or will that fail and will we hear of devonian attempt? fag packet calcs suggest current netback c.$750k/month? does anyone have another number? meanwhile the $800k/qtr charge for historic costs continues to drain the life out of the company. good here innit?
