With KO gifting his kids shares he no longer holds shares.

I wondered if he might be tempted to buy some in the market. They would be non notifiable now, he could hoover up cheap shares- ultimately benefiting his kids more!

Cheo I spoke to both KO and CC about how much might come from A5 production wise after reading someone here or on the LSE talk of a possible 10,000 bopd. They were both very clear that 3,500 to 4,000 was firmly their view of most likely. My impression was if you 3,500 became 5,000 they would be delighted but shocked and on the fownside disappointed if it was less than 3,500 bopd. We will know by The new year.

The Tengiz field is a giant oil field producing 530 thousand BOPD from about 70 naturally flowing wells.

530,000bopd÷70well=7,571bopd/well

Tangiz platform depth : 4,200~4,600m.
OBH + OBHs = 1800~24,200bopd.

A5 depth : 4,400~4,600m.
Q=13,955bopd.

There's only do many roadshows you can do and if the insti's don't bite then the significant buying will dry up until next wave of PI interest when news announced. If our sellers want out they're going to have to take less unless they have a buyer matching trades. Also the market cap at c £180m doesn't help as below the radars or investment guidelines for many institutional funds. I sense that there could be a Black Friday moment whereby there will be some real bargains for the greedy, let's see.

Some of those 10.89's, 10.9's from this morning marked as sells were buys when I checked with dummy trades Smarty

From memory of the last old register I had I don't believe the seller has more than 2% or he would have to declare his change in holding by now. So that could be around 30m shares and the recent volume would not be enough to support all of the disposal so I think on he goes till he gets done. So we drift lower until more substantial buying comes in and that could be on the first of the actual flow data on the 90 day test. The current NAV is more than supported on the shallows. There is NOTHING in for the deeps. It really is cheap round here.

300k buys and 1.1m sells ? waiting for the big buy declaration to match trades. I'm waiting for 2 declarations, our seller and our new buyer, probably an institution testing the water with a small stake.

Be nice to see a few director buys and should be out of a closed period post 14;6 announcement ?

Re Tengiz and A5, i'll stick with my 3,500 - 4000 bopd.

Might be better just going straight into sidetrack on A6 and 801, don't think it took that long on A5 now they kind of know what they are doing. From past experience I don't think they will be able to get those wells flowing with just remedial works unless by magic everything is much easier to do now merger completed.

some fantasy numbers while we await the reality.

all guesswork, supposition and hope - so please no hate mail but different guesstimates welcome!

with 2 deeps flowing and a revised cpr p2 300m together with say 10000bopd incl 4000 from shallows, company price tag $3b = 135p.

with 3 deeps flowing and a revised cpr p2 500m together with say 13000bopd incl 4000 from shallows, company price tag $5b = 226p.

with 4 deeps flowing (after 12 months) and a revised cpr p2 700m together with say 17000bopd incl 5000 from shallows, company price tag $7b = 316p.

early buyout in 6 months at $9b = 407p.

And running A8 in tandem. Not going to be cheap and I'm struggling to understand how current oil revenues are covering cost ? Still believe our KO will lob a few quid in if needed.

thanks bwaken.

clive looking more relaxed and confident than ever. a low key delivery reinforcing his confidence i'd say.

still targetting 801 (even if a side track is required) and a6 by xmas with a little luck.

and with today's rns trailing the likely success of 146 and imminent start of flow test on a5, what's not to like.

Thank you for posting the link.

After 11 years of patience with our Roxi/Casp, i believe we'd be very lucky to get 801 and A6 flowing pre year but at least they're attemting to do so.

801 - Remove stuck pipe = immediate flow, if not sidetrack so probably no outcome until end of Feb earliest and then 90 day flow test

A6 - Recomplete the floor of the well and reperforate, if no success, probably another sidetrack, maybe in tandem with 801 ?

They're very confident re A5 and people are expecting the other deeps to be a slam dunk, not quite the case but confidence building.

Well more good news which will help clear the overhang. Intereting just how good their poker faces were at last weeks presentation.

They had the testers on site but positioned it so that they said nothing until they were ready to give out the news. What struck me about those discussions was they really needed very big kit now to handle the volumes and pressure coming out of A5.

So with that latest shallow well we are at 4,000 bopd and the three deeps coming in in 3,500 to 4,000 bopd? Then this company is going to be scaling up enormously. Potentially they will have 12,000 a month from the deeps and say 5,000 from the shallows poring out $150m gross a year. It will take six months but that is not that long.

But for now that sellers needs to be tidied up.

I think the market has got my message, sit on your hands and let it slide. Looks like 146 is going to be the 6th success and if it flows like 143, that would be great news and 4000 bopd with A5 to come. From initial A5 RNS -;

'The well-head pressure varied from 160 to 300 bar. The pressure build-up dynamics indicate an excellent reservoir quality. The current shut-in pressure is 470 bar (6,887 psi). The high well-head pressure and the good presence of rich gases such as butane and pentane also indicate lighter and more valuable oil compared to our shallow wells.'

Was shut in @ 470 bar = 6,800 PSI and now @ 370 bar = 5,550 PSI. Looks like shut in pressure reduced, not sure what real significance this has.

Our friends on LSE are starting to ramp up the expected flow rates. I think 7000 bopd is the best estimate so far....lol. I know our Clive said he expected it to flow better after the clean up but double ! I believe it'll flow between 3500-4000bopd which will be great news for all investors.

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your objective, nothing is going to propel this north until our seller stops and some peeps may get a sub 10p entry point. Actually unbelievable when you look at the facts but heyho, what will be will be.
