Harrissen are you serious? I was hoping that 3,500 might become 4,500, multiples of that are something I was not considering. Roll on the 90 day test to fund out the answer?

...........................

Not as far fetched as it seems. It flowed 3500 bopd uninterrupted for 4 hours and without artificial stimulation. With the addition of high pressure testing equipment the skys the limit imo.

"The well flowed 3500bopd for 4 hours without interruption and without artificial stimulation before it was shut in pending the arrival on site of additional high pressure testing equipment"

Realistically, this could easily be increased to 10,000 bopd following intervention of additional high pressure testing equipment.

Deep Well A5

Status

The previously announced side-track has been drilled and completed without incident using a 4-1/2 inch pre-perforated liner followed by running 3-1/2 inch tubing

On 21 October 2017 the well was opened for clean-up purposes. The initial flow rates were approximately 3,500 bopd using a 11 mm choke.

The well flowed without interruption for 4 hours and without artificial stimulation before it was shut in pending the arrival on site of additional high pressure testing equipment.

The well-head pressure varied from 160 to 300 bar. The pressure build-up dynamics indicate an excellent reservoir quality. The current shut-in pressure is 470 bar (6,887 psi). The high well-head pressure and the good presence of rich gases such as butane and pentane also indicate lighter and more valuable oil compared to our shallow wells.

The interval tested is limestone and extends 85 meters in height between depths 4,335 meters and 4,420 meters.

We look forward to updating the market further on the progress of this well in due course

Harrissen yes a RNS tomorrow would be friendly but if its next week so be it.

As to what 146 might deliver I am hoping for 500 barrel a day?

If that was achieved it would be $9,000 a day at $18 now, $270,000 a month

But double that in June at $540,000 a month when they get $35 net world pricing.

The big wells may be the lottery tickets but the shallow wells are still transformative in themselves.

I'm sure our KO and CC will want to deliver a positive update pre the presentation tomorrow. The rumours re fund raiser and takeover are absolute nonsense imo although they both will be on the table at some point in the future.

The biggest fear for investors is the A5 commerciallity and down to Casper to deliver that. If A5 flows at 3500 or more then the credibility of the company increases and so does investor confidence and the blue sky ramping will be part of the game going forward and also factored into the share price

The only way we lose if the whole story is a fabrication a la GKP or one of Leni's emperors new clothes stories.

Going north guys and gals, hopefully you've all got your tickets.

Tick, tock.

Shallow Well 146 should be at or near it’s 2500m target depth now. Perhaps an update on that well tomorrow?

..................

The RNS will be Friday earliest imo.

The gathering doesn't take place until 5.30pm - well after markets close tomorrow evening!
Of course they may jolly things up by updating before the meeting - give them something to discuss instead of taking awkward questions from the floor.

Other deep wells

We continue to work to start flow tests at both A6 and 801.

Caspian Sunrise

Outlook
BNG has the potential to be a world class asset
Shallow drilling has already confirmed 29 million barrels P2 gross reserves at BNG
Recent shallow drilling success at Well 141 & 142 may materially increase these reserves
Recent deep drilling success at Well A6 is likely to very materially increase reserves
After capitalisation of US$10m loan from CEO, the Company is debt free, except for local oil traders
Kazakhstan is a low cost operating environment with highly developed oil and gas infrastructure
Under full producing licence in mid 2018 80% oil sales will be at world prices
Immediate focus is to develop maximum P2 reserves consistent with minimum shareholder dilution
Key short term objective is to get at least one of the deep wells flowing to allow reserve estimates
Longer term focus on creating a financially successful oil and gas E&P business centered on the BNG asset
