Cartucho are presenting to 10 companies including supermarkets and pharmacies in the Usa over the next 6 weeks, the smallest of these companies has 700 stores. The shares have been tipped by analysts and should be 30p by the end of the day.

Matches,

Hi, thanks for your input above. The price action of this one would certainly suggest that something is brewing. I have high hopes for this company and with a few deals and the associated publicity the share psice could rise considerably IMO. Keep us informed if you get any interesting info.

Hi all, i have been reading through your messages above with great interest. I know the guys who started this company up originally, i am very good friends with one of the partners. I can inform you that they are no longer directors of the new company but are still major shareholders and are working as sales consultants. He is not a director and does not see the accounts so can apparently buy and sell shares without insider trading. He has advised me to buy and seems to think they are about to announce a deal with staples. He also points out that most office max stores are doing significantly more cartridges per day than was predicted. I must also point out the he holds a large amount of shares which he has to keep for one year before he can sell.

I think there are a few eyes being opened to these retail rollouts.

I heard of Ink-O-Dem on a short CNBC USA segment which showed film of the machines in Walgreens. Cartucho was not mentioned by name, but it was said similar trials were rolling out in Office Depot and Officemax.

In the studio discussion after the film, the two 'experts' brought in to comment seemed to suggest that such will be the effect of the ink refillers in future, the likes of Lexmark and HP should concentrate on their corporate business and leave consumer ink resales to the refillers. Take that as you may.

Perhaps there is some reference to this item on the CNBC web site. To sleepy to look now.

Why the sudden breakout here with good volume and nice price move? I figure that either it is CTGP specific, contract win, overhang cleared or just stake building. Or, having looked at the Ink-O-Dem links and more, I wonder if the news surrounding their deal has opened peoples eyes to the prospects here?
Sure you can take the news of competition in a negative way, but to hope that one company will take a whole world market is not realistic IMO. The market will be plenty large enough to allow a few players to prosper if the 1500 machine deal with Walgreens is anything to go by. With the first players having machines installed their competitors will look to follow. B&Q- Homebase or Tesco-Sainsbury all live in fear of each others new ideas and tend to follow each other pretty much regardless IMO. I think that if the kiosk market is at the point of the big boys placing orders then things could get quite interesting.

Certainly developing well at the moment.

Nice continued buying, wish I'd bought more now! Still no news in the public domain. 30p looking likely soon if this keeps going for a few more days.

Frank,

Any chance you could provide more details on the forecasts that you have? Nice move today with big volume. Contract news ahead, or somebody to announce a holding I would imagine. Hope for a bit more on Monday!
Has anyone tried the website recently? tried it a couple of times recently but it's gone!

Cheers,

Frank,

Certainly seems that the amount of stock around is reduced and that we have some real strength in the share price. Is there any news around the corner driving this ?

Steady as she goes.

If they are selling above the budget forecasts at IPO, the upside is very large indeed, as the projected revenues on small sales made this very cheap at the time.

Continuing to move up in a steady way. Some big trades today as well, hmm.

Bearlady:_ Well found - Any chanceyou can find anything on our machines?

Our machines are certainly less expensive - Not sure how they compare on performance but from the IPO research appeared very customer friendly in that the Cartucho machine produces a test print to prove that the cartridge has not only been correctly filled but also works.

Some surfing on the web produced these links:

No trades at all then... Very quietly breaking out to new highs. With a bit of positive newsflow this could move up rapidly IMO.

Interesting move up today on only 10k volume. CTGP now broken out to a new high, if we move up tomorrow then I would expect a decent rise to follow. Keeping fingers crossed anyway.

6 months ago, PC world started this onsite ink filling on on first day were filling it for free. I had two filled but when I bought it home it would not work. Now because it was free I could not go back to complaint and in to go 10 miles round trip would cost me £5 in petrol and 1 and 1/2 hour of my time so onsite also has the problems

Indianconnection,

Cartucho's admission document states that one problem with remanufactured cartridges is damage sustained during the bulk collection and handling process.
Your experience may vindicate this theory. You say how wonderful inkstyle are, but fact is their product FAILED you and needed replacing. This in my opinion is not a good system despite good customer service.
Cartucho test cartridges after filling so you go away with a product that works!

It doesn't often work like that imo.

People usually subscribe for twice the amount they really want in the expectation of getting the amount they are happy with.

Whilst internet 'shopping' is clearly a threat to everyone in the retail trade, it remains the case that the vast majority of shopping is done in shops.

The majority of people at home with printers tend to replace or refill cartridges when they're empty, and ordering a replacement on the internet is still more expensive and time consuming than visiting your local stationary suppliers or supermarket to top up the cartridge, unless you live in the middle of nowhere.

Not only that, but the environmental benefits of refilling cartridges will appeal to many, and this concept will, I believe, become the norm over the next few years.

Finally, the share price 4 days after launch is not particularly relevant to me or most of the people that bought into the float.

It all depends what price they are going to charge
There are so many companies selling on internet
last month I bought remanufactured HP Phtotsmart 1218 color and black cartridge as under
Color C6578A 45ml £12.90
Black 51645A 42Ml £7.90
and delivered free plus I had probem after a month with color printer saying incorrectly installed.

I PHONED INKSTYLE AND THEY ARE SENDING REPLACEMENT WITHOUT ANY ARGUMENTS.

NOW YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO A STORE AND WAIT FOR IT TO BE REFIILED AND IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG YOU HAVE TO GO BACK TO STORE AND ARGUE WITH STUPID STAFF.

So Cartucho retailers will be competing against thse internet retailers who value their cusomers, relying on keeping them for life!
Just my point of view. It is still early days but to me if the issue was over subscribed, the share price shoud be up atleast 50% up, not just10%?

I see.

Are they mugs for buying shares in a company on a prospective forward pe of 4x, or are they mugs for buying shares in a company that is doing very well in the Officemax stores, or are they mugs for buying shares in a company that has just signed up with Sainsburies ?

Perhaps they're mugs because people won't use the printers next year ?

Whilst I agree that their website is not great, at this time of year, many small companies have skeleton staff, and whilst its not ideal to get an answerphone when calling a company (assuming its true), I do believe that you need to look at what the bigger picture is.

Canada life group holding 3,500,000 (3.89%) that accounts for some of the buying. More RNS to come?
