12/10/2021 11:14 | He wasn't there too long.Hope there's not any reason other than personal behind the departure. | apfindley
12/10/2021 10:59 | Volume on the sell-off is light. It could easily be the departed CEO just dumping into the open. He was always a strange appointment especially considering his mining/construction background. I wonder did the board/major shareholders simply decide he wasn't right for the job and turfed him out? | tabhair
12/10/2021 10:25 | Probably just the wrong appointment. Bringing in a dynamic chief executive to a conservatively run Cumbrian business probably rustled more than a few feathers. Disappointing as he would have transformed Carr's. Let's see who they get to replace him. | kinwah
12/10/2021 08:01 | Looks like at a guess major Board disagreement - Let Mr market give opinion - Not got any inside knowledge - Edited at 8:18 - So far a non event so far as the market is concerned. Now down 8% at 10:00am - but on low volume unless a hidden iceberg - | pugugly
12/10/2021 07:26 | That is a bit disconcerting. Does anyone know the rationale behind it? Carr's (CARR.L), the Agriculture and Engineering Group, announces that Hugh Pelham has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer, leaving the Group with immediate effect, and will pursue other interests. Peter Page, Chairman, has become Executive Chairman on an interim basis. Peter Page, Chairman , commented: "On behalf of the Board we thank Hugh for his contribution since joining at the beginning of the year. Group performance remains in line with the improved guidance provided in our Trading Update on 19 July 2021. We look forward to updating shareholders on the Group's progress at the time of our Full Year results on 22 November." | cwa1

03/9/2021 23:24 | I think it is worse than that actually according to reports I have heard. In fact the reduction is 66%. It seems only one little piggy went to market, another was WFH ( must be a covid thing) wjile a third was out dining on beef. Slim pickings I reckon. I think 162p is still too cheap here. | mach100
31/8/2021 09:16 | Here there are supply issues with pigs getting to market ??30 percent piggy in blankets shortage at xmas time on radio this morning !!!Those relying on a kfc Christmas dinner also starting to worry | s34icknote
27/8/2021 15:06 | Probably pretty good if you are a pig or a cow s34icknote as they would kill less of you. Mind you they might keep less of your family too due to the cost of rearing you. | mach100
27/8/2021 09:27 | Is that good or bad ? | s34icknote

11/8/2021 08:55 | Think we got to about £18.00 before the 10-1 split. (Many years ago now!) Will be nice to be up there again £1.80? Great dividends over the years and of course the Flour Mill proceeds. Let’s hope steady away next 5 years! | somethingsup
11/8/2021 08:17 | Still going higher | s34icknote

23/7/2021 15:44 | PBT 16,1m e21. Edison value £1.65. Let’s say PBT £18m e21 so could go £1.80 upwards with sustainable PBT? | somethingsup |
