Seriously where do you get your info from ?
You must have some special inside info that nobody else seems to have.
You probably have money in Tapi that your going to lose :)

Hearing Landlords looking at exit strategy from CR, many owed a lot of money, prime properties being signed up by competition and valuations being taken on CR owned properties

I don’t see Lord H wanting CR as an entity, maybe 50-100prime units, his new venture Tapi is much more modern, bright and 21st Century, I’d guess he is more interested in the properties than the brand, however he will be watching closely either way.

Looks like suppliers about to go pro-forma and finance lenders getting twitchy, so unless they have decent cash flow, doors could close in weeks, I suspect they will draw in as much cash as they can before it goes pop, that’s what dying companies do,

Sadly, it has become a bit like Woolworths before its
demise.
Old fashioned and outdated for the 21st Century
Stores look drab and not inviting...
Imho

Hope they can be brought back to life, somehow

Can't understand why anyone would be surprised by CPR's plight after years of ridiculous over-valuation.
only who?

If you've got any shares left your probably better off dumping them now as they are unlikely to ever see Brexit, it should have been allowed to fail before the disastrous CVA which has just encouraged a debt holder to take more and more until unsustainability is unavoidable, will be stripped of assets which is probably well underway as we speak, suppliers will be shafted and Meritor will walk away looking like a saviour who failed rather than the vultures they are .

Rumours have it that the company has till December to accept a bit... Either they go bust or meditor will buy them and strip the company...

I warned everyone on here a few months ago this would happen, its no longer the countdown to brexit but the countdown to carpetrights inevitable death.

Parked in my local Marks and Spencer Food Hall place yesterday
Carpetrite next door. I thought it must have closed down.
The windows were more than filthy, could hardly see in. It is still open but looks awful.
Sad sight..

Only other possibility is, if another company comes in at slightly higher bid, let’s say if it’s 10p, company will still only be worth 30M, dirt cheap right!?

matt, you need to consider the £50m debt on the books - so they aren't paying £15m but an EV of £65m.

So, heavily invested here and down 85% :(. I don’t see why Meditor who is already invested here won’t be lapping up the whole Company for just extra 15M. These guys stitched us up big time, there was a reason why Meditor increased their stake to 30% a few months ago, should have seen it coming then already but I guess hope dies last. I think shareholders should get together and take the management and Meditor to court for conspiring together to devalue the company, so Meditor could buy it out right on the cheap. What should I do now, wait and see what happens or sell and get whatever money I still can for these shares? Please advise! @shorters - no need to respond!
