14/8/2021 11:24 | I see 27 people test positive for covid on carnival ship in Los Angeles ABC NEWS. Carnival say it departed from Galveston Texas and was heading to Belize when cases arose. Deepverge DVRG the Irish company have the solution from their Microtox units for early detection and thus isolation from areas aboard the ship to determine where on the ship staff / passengers are infected much early than testing and in real time with AI data and recording. It was reported a while back that they were in discussion with the cruise industry and Carnival are the biggest in the world and fitting would be simple and quick. Worth 5 - 8 million just for fitting the systems to the cruise lining industry. | onehanded

12/8/2021 11:24 | Certainly is and when I was looking a month or two ago some very good prices although pure cruising without any stops but not a bad thing for a short cruise. | boliviana
12/8/2021 10:59 | The UK cruise schedule is really picking up now. 18 ships due in/out of Southampton in the next 7 days, 11 of them Carnival vessels. Whether or not the public heath situation can be adequately managed we shall find out very soon. Good luck to all CCL holders. https://www.southamp | dig and sell
30/7/2021 14:50 | That's now a problem smurfy2001, the vaccinated likely behave as if Teflon coated, presumably many ignorant of the fact that they can still contract the virus and spread it around, and yet the State deems them safer than the non vaccinated! We are well into 'Alice' territory. I notice that the stories about cruises yet again having customers confined to cabins are not making it into the MSM, whereas at the beginning of this exercise it was wall to wall old people being banged up in cabins. I should think it's very difficult to keep say 1000 persons in close proximity free of the virus, unless they all do quarantine in a monitored facility first. | lefrene
30/7/2021 14:25 | Key figure is how many are going to hospitals and dying, not the new infections. Remember you can still be infected if vaccinated. | smurfy2001
30/7/2021 14:22 | 92,000 new infections in the US yesterday Now hearing the delta variant is as transmissible as chickenpox and more than the common cold even | justiceforthemany

18/7/2021 12:17 | I couldn't wait any longer and booked up. Mainly due to wanting to sample Iona. Probably won't be able to get off for 14 days, except for the tours they offer. Max 60% capacity by then, end Oct, so plenty of room. Full ents schedule, freedom dining, uses up some FCCs. Plenty of time to get better at water colours and dancing and get a bit of sun. Unfortunately, it'll be boarding late and getting kicked off early, so pros and cons. And if they cancel (50/50), we probably get 25% extra anyhow. | pierre oreilly
16/7/2021 09:36 | Cruises under pressure as covid stops any port stop off's. Port's wanting evidence of all passengers / crew have been tested daily and surveillance on the ship. A employee on ship welcomed a team from UK / Irish company Deepverge DVRG to install sewer real time AI cabin section detection - interesting... Also I see deepverge have a breath detection hand held unit, blow into it and shows result in 5 seconds... | blueteam1
15/7/2021 21:54 | Oh OK, but they are not cancelling them | smurfy2001
15/7/2021 13:25 | they said uk shares are cheaper than US stock, iirc | owencoffin
15/7/2021 13:13 | Really surprised they are doing a buy back l don't understand why. I'm assuming that's the reason the share price is weak 🤔 | smurfy2001
15/7/2021 09:00 | Pottsypotts from yesterday. 3,000 people are confined to cabins on 'cruise to nowhere' ship off Singapore after a single Covid case is detected Dream Cruises ship's 1,646 passengers and 1,249 crew are isolating in cabins A passenger, 40, was alerted as a close contact of a confirmed case on land After tests, the passenger tested positive, forcing everyone to stay in their cabin The non-stop cruise is now sitting in the port awaiting further test results | lab305

08/7/2021 00:11 | ‘Exceptional response’ as P&O Cruises Caribbean sailing sells out in six hours All cabins put on sale for P&O Cruises new 40-night winter sun Caribbean cruise on Aurora sold out in six hours on its first day on sale. A 12-night Portugal and Canary Islands itinerary, which also went on sale yesterday, saw 80% of cabins sold.
