17/11/2020 14:44 | The company's monthly average cash burn rate for Q3 was $770M, which was in line with the anticipated monthly cash burn rate. The company expects the monthly average cash burn rate for Q4 to be ~$530M. So, maybe another cash raise within 3 months when they will be at least $1590M poorer. | ohojim

14/11/2020 07:44 | Cramer’s lightning round: Terrific opportunity to buy gold Published Fri, Nov 13 20208:00 PM EST Tyler Clifford @_TylerTheTyler_ Key Points It’s that time again! “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer rings the lightning round bell, which means he’s giving his answers to callers’ stock questions at rapid speed. Barrick Gold: “I think gold’s going down here and that is a terrific opportunity to buy gold. Buy GOLD … or gold. Barrick Gold is fine.” Las Vegas Sands: “I believe that Biden is going to have a better relationship with China than Trump did, which means that LVS is going to be fine to own. I do prefer Wynn to LVS.” Lockheed Martin: “The defense department does well under either administration. Now, I prefer L3Harris to Lockheed Martin, but Lockheed Martin has a terrific new CEO … who will be able to maneuver anything.” Carnival: “The only one I’m recommending is Norwegian. Norwegian happens to have enough money to be able to last for a longer time.” Vonage: “I’ve liked Vonage for a long time. It’s only just recently started to work.” Macerich: “This is the spec one in the group, but it’s not for me.” | the grumpy old men
13/11/2020 23:22 | Trump and the Head of Operation WarpSpeed Moncef have just confirmed they expect positive phase 3 data from Moderna next week. Pfizer will file for FDA emergency use order also next week. Mass vaccinations in US begin December with up to 20 Million inoculated. A further 30 Million inoculated in Jan 2021 and every month thereafter. Given 90% of Covid deaths are in those aged >65 and this age bracket = 50 Million in the US the entire group that is most at risk and responsible for most Covid admissions and deaths could be vaccinated by the end of January. The US could see a huge drop in cases and deaths as early as late January/February. Similarly those aged >65 in the UK total 12 million; 40 million doses of the Pfizer have been ordered of which 10 million are expected in December which will cover half of the at risk group with the other half inoculated hopefully in January. Again the UK could see a sharp drop in hospital admissions and deaths as early as mid-late January. Other vaccines being approved like Moderna, AstraZeneca/Oxford, Johnson&Johnson, GSK will only speed things up further! | justiceforthemany

13/11/2020 10:30 | Normality by Easter? As much as I'd like that, if you actually believe it I'd be surprised. Manufacturing, distributing and administering to the whole planet (if that's what's required) will take time... it'll certainly be nowhere near complete by Easter. | npp62
12/11/2020 21:41 | 2ND COVID VACCINE COMING. MODERNA TO REPORT PHASE 3 DATA IN THE COMING DAYS - FT Anthony Fauci, the leading US infectious disease expert, predicted positive data from a second Covid-19 vaccine could come quickly on the heels of this week’s strong trial results from Pfizer and BioNTech. Moderna saiD on Wednesday that it now had enough cases to begin the interim analysis of data from its phase 3 trials. Some 30,000 people had been given either Moderna’s vaccine or a placebo, and 53 people had now tested positive for Covid-19, the company said. The positive cases will be submitted to an independent data monitoring board, which will compare the number of infections in the placebo group with the number in vaccinated participants to examine the vaccine’s effectiveness. | justiceforthemany |
