14/12/2009 17:13 | rns in full Carlton Resources options Mali gold miner Business Financial Newswire Mining investment company Carlton Resources has agreed an option to acquire Tobon Tondo, a Mali company holding highly prospective gold exploration interests. Carlton says it is finalising detailed due diligence on Tobon and the underlying assets, and expects to exercise the option not later than 15 January. It expires on 31 January. Tobon holds the Karan exploration licence and Diatissan research permit, located near a number of producing gold mines in Mali. An initial £0.6m is payable in shares if the option is exercised, with two further share-based milestone payments of £0.6m. It will constitute a reverse takeover under AIM rules. | andrbea | |
