08/1/2007 14:27 | Amazing - up 14% on the basis of one tip and about 20,000 shares changing hands. | siskinbird
08/1/2007 09:25 | Seems to have done the trick . Ole..! | mitzis
08/1/2007 09:25 | Mitzis - that seems to have taken the cork out of the bottle! | woodsman2004
07/1/2007 10:04 | Found this article today Woody in the papers.. | mitzis
18/12/2006 16:09 | Looks like more director trades - seems to follow the same pattern as the last flurry of activity. The lack of negative reaction, and the price received indicates to me that the previous statement that the sales was "carried out to cater for institutional demand" may actually be the truth! | woodsman2004
13/12/2006 18:03 | He made a million and just before Xmas the lucky so and so..! | mitzis
13/12/2006 15:12 | There is is the answer, the directors have some Christams spending money | protec
13/12/2006 09:33 | Thanks Woody I have added recently to my original holding and I agree that long term they will be a winner nit sure regarding yesterdays action but could be someone acculumating.. | mitzis
12/12/2006 16:29 | me neither! Mitzis - yes I have held since just after floatation and added several times since then. I have connections with the care industry - rightly or wrongly (there are lots of arguments about this), the industry is consolidating away from private owner operators into the hands of the corporate groups. I expect to see CTH continue to make small and medium size acquisitions - as before I expect they will be able to generate savings pretty quickly. Not sure the price will rocket, but it is IMHO a very good long term growth bet with limited risk on the downside. | woodsman2004
12/12/2006 16:20 | Re volume to-day anyone make any sense out of that lot i can't | protec
09/12/2006 09:40 | Apart from a complete collapse in the economy which I dont reckon will happen in the next 2 years anyway Caretech represent a defensive bet as well as being a growth story so you get two pluses for the price of one. Operating 125 homes and with 850 residential beds they remain a each way bet on the growth of the residential care market in the UK. I reckon they could easily double in share price over the next 2 years and still be making acquisitions that will be profit enhancing. Do you hold CUK Woody and could this be another similar growth story..? | mitzis
07/12/2006 10:17 | I would put my pension on it being a star performer in 2007 Woody.. | mitzis
06/12/2006 08:49 | Being somewhat of an economic doomster - i reagrd this stock as a pretty safe bet in the coming storm....... | woodsman2004
05/12/2006 18:39 | Well done for holding Woody I may well join you. | mitzis
05/12/2006 14:54 | Excellent results. Roll on 2007. This is now my largest holding. | woodsman2004
18/11/2006 20:29 | Are we going to see final results in December like last year? Ah - just seen previous post - 4th December (edit) Hasten | hasten
18/11/2006 11:35 | Chart suggest a next leg up very soon Woody I like this company and its never ending acquisitions..! They must be on target for 1000 beds which is some going over the last 12 months. | mitzis
17/11/2006 13:32 | Cripes!!! Thats a significant acquisition.....sp should kick on! | woodsman2004
07/11/2006 15:46 | Patience to sit on your hands and do nothing is the key Woody...I agree with bill that 380p is the next target. | mitzis
07/11/2006 10:44 | mitzis, That is what i am expecting too. I reckon increased occupany and efficiencies may be partially offset by things such as energy cost rises. Still a very good long term safe bet IMHO - its just that patience is required through all the long boring months when nothing is happening. | woodsman2004
07/11/2006 07:55 | Siskin: Results will be in line with expectations due 4th December. | mitzis
06/11/2006 23:07 | mitzis, Just checking in on the board, hence the delay in replying. No idea of a long term projection but 380p looks like a reasonable target to me. The last leg up was about 100p so extrapolating a further 100p onto the start of the current rise at 280p gives the 380p. Bill | billfisher98
06/11/2006 22:41 | Thanks mitzis - who reckons they are good? Has a little bird told you? | siskinbird
06/11/2006 14:25 | Could be due to the forthcoming results early December which are reckoned to be good. | mitzis
06/11/2006 14:19 | I wonder why - has it been tipped in the w/e press or something? | siskinbird |
