And on we go. Everything going to plan. Baring macroeconomic events this should continue to climb steadily.

Wonder what Richard Griffiths target is as he's still buying as is Henderson Global... (and the Sheikh's are adding at these levels)

Current Large stakeholders:
Henderson Global 18.00
Richard Griffiths 11.04
Sheikh controlled 27.47

3 largest stakeholders now own over half the company and all have bought in the last month.

This lack of liquidity should enable the share to climb quickly with relatively little buying activity as market makers struggle to fill orders.

If it keeps above resistancs @ around 140, this could be off again. Target still 250.

Maybe it won't take as long as I thought at this rate.

S

I got in at a slightly higher price. Well in profit and hoping that the bowl formation on the chart will reach my target of 350p, though this could take as long as a year, unless this current rally is the beginnings of something bigger.

Turn the light back on !!

Been here since early Dec and bailed fairly quickly as it kept going down. Re-entered early Jan at 88p as the trend was better.

I'm fairly new to shares and wondered what others thought about the behaviour here

The sell side has been rising slowly on small trades but like today has held well on the buy side despite numerous AT trades. I know the price has dropped today but 120 has shown good resistance despite the volume of AT trades at 120. Its as if somebody has a pot of money and is recycling it to push the price up bit by bit with some help from the MM's. So buying in low, selling for a profit and then re-using the profit to buy more and push the price up again.

As I said I'm new to this and maybe way off the mark and am curious what others think.

Half decent results, silly MBO off the table, chart showing possible breakout...

.... maybe, just maybe, Santa has begun to work his magic. Some chunky director buys couldn't harm.......

Aishah,

Starting to get the impression that CTH could be seen as a prime cantidate for a short attack given current mkt sentiment?

I'm remaining a little extra cautious with this one.

The Southern Cross saga hasn't helped us either :-(

Care home operator Southern Cross is set to shut down after landlords owning all 752 of its care homes said they wanted to leave the group.

"It is currently envisaged that the existing group will cease to be an operator of homes," the firm said.

How is this different to sche? Overburdened with debt, fee squeezes from local authorities? Apparently the residents remain longer, not much point of that if those same residents are unprofitable

Glad I kept out of a punt here; avoided a 10% haircut!
Faster prospects elsewhere IMO.
GL all.

not necessarily disappointing:

management buyout at a price which utilises the most appropriate way to enhance shareholder value
