15/11/2009 16:35 | turbotrader2 - 15 Nov'09 - 11:09 - 3572 of 3572 OK the obvious question is how long ago? And the next question would be what are you waiting for? Surely you ahould send your certifiacte to his broker and request funds? At what price was the deal struck? (Please ignore if you think that's an impertinent question) GLTA | andy

15/11/2009 10:02 | David Brent - 12 Nov'09 - 21:39 - 3567 of 3570 Perhaps it would be useful for followers here if you could add in any detail you may have gleaned from your conversation with him, assuming there was some of course! Did he indicate whether he would be willing to buy more shares if holders wanted to sell to him? | andy
15/11/2009 09:33 | David Brent - I never doubted that Rob Bensh is a top bloke. I'm pleased to hear that you got a satisfactory conclusion to your Cardinal/Taurex problem. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and I'm not saying mistakes have not been made in the past, but I know that Rob works hard and works his team hard (and they in turn work hard for him), and he is dedicated to rebuilding Cardinal/Taurex and, if at all possible, retaining value for shareholders. At one time the odds were probably heavily against him succeeding, but despite that and all the rubbish posted here he kept on trying. I get the impression that things are still very difficult moneywise, but that the odds are probably slowly moving in favour of success. I don't know exactly what value is left here but I do know - and this is all publicly available information - that Taurex' drilling partner is in the process of drilling well number 11 in Okfuskee County and that Taurex recently seems to have been successful in a court case in Oklahoma. Irvine also seems to form part of the bigger picture, with its contiguous acreage, but there are big problems to be sorted out there also. Turbotraders post 3552 (22-10-09) revealed that there is now some production, but at that time no revenue. No doubt revenue will come in time, and paying off the debt that has been built up is the next big problem. The Annual Report and accounts are due in the next few months and these may give us a bit more information. Shale Gas/Horizontal Drilling in the US seems to be the next "big thing" - a quick search of the BBC will reveal a number of recent articles on this - and The Sunday Times also had a big article on that a few weeks ago - so Taurex may have something of a first mover advantage on this. I haven't posted recently, because there was nothing concrete, but I still follow Taurex, and I'm sure that one day we will realise some value. Xena | xenawarriorprincess

23/10/2009 11:29 | realcooltrader. i agree with your thoughts. Cardinal/Taurex is now in my 'don't think I'll get my money back' box. The company is not exactly giving up much information and whereas any listing would clearly not happen at this stage, regular(-ish) updates would be welcome. | shotts
22/10/2009 14:08 | why havent they posted on the website | turbotrader2
