06/11/2017 16:45 | Goodness buys outweigh sales by 4 to 1 and the share price goes down. How is that? | wi1l
02/11/2017 19:24 | What made the price fall from 320p? It can't have been that typo in one card :-/ | runthejoules
31/10/2017 14:19 | There is a special dividend due 9th Nov 15p (I think) coupled with the interim of 2.90p should be 17.9p payable 15th Dec.?? | wi1l
31/10/2017 10:12 | 'Quality Control' - what the hell is that? LOL | minerve
29/10/2017 23:06 | "To a special friends"Seriously two Christmas cards available with such greeting!Quality control ???? | 18bells
25/10/2017 17:09 | to increase Card normally pay their special divis with the interim so it will be next September before we can expect one and find out what the new plan is. Unless they have a bumper Xmas I think we will only see about 6.5 or 6.6p final and that would probably mean no comment regarding a special till next September. The other alternative might be to increase regular dividends and drop the idea. Of specials | ganthorpe
25/10/2017 16:03 | Moving up ! Christmas card buying a bit early:) | rickyy

16/10/2017 11:44 | Is that a straight 5.2% entry for Woodford this morning? | luderitz
04/10/2017 12:40 | Agree - having learnt the hard way. I took some hard knocks at first but ironically it turned out to be monies well invested, and I caught the recent fluctuation on Card Factory perfectly. So much so they're now on my Christmas card list. | bighairyspider
03/10/2017 10:42 | spoole5 You have to know when to use stop-losses and when not to. You have to know when you use them what spread from the current share price to use and how that determines your trade size. With all due respect those that have bad experiences with stop-losses are amateurs. Learn how to use this valuable tool and they will make and save you a lot of money. Being stopped-out is part of the learning process that you need to accept and if you are investing for the long-term don't use them. | minerve
02/10/2017 19:52 | spoole5, we are already nearly half way back again! | raymund
02/10/2017 18:31 | The nonsense that has gone on here over the last few days is exactly the reason why i don't use stop losses. | spoole5
29/9/2017 13:35 | I get asked to sign a card and pay into a collection for some random colleague nearly every day at work. I wish they would go away ;) | mozy123
29/9/2017 13:31 | Time to add and collect the 15p divi, just doubled up my holding at 305p giving me an average holding cost of 2.75p so feel pretty safe now! | raymund
29/9/2017 07:17 | Thanks Gary, that was one of the main reasons I bought it. Having got stopped out of a few growth stocks recently I'm reinvesting in value/growth/dividen | runthejoules
29/9/2017 04:14 | RTJ, CARD is up 5% because it,s been way oversold, and it.s great value for anyone,s money at these level,s.Also there is a 17.9p dividend to look forward too on 09/11,and paid on 15/12.That is a 6.2% dividend return alone on the current share price of 290p.The current overall dividend yield is 8.34% .DYOR | garycook |
