Well , what cheers me up is ............

surely we don;t appoint a new broker for the fun of it ?

also cheers me up , because if we don't do anything by next week ,
ok - we get suspended - not good I agree , but not the end of the world ,
as we then have six months before we're dead .

What doesn't cheer me is ..............

Trading Platform , or whatever it was called , it which I think we still have a holding was supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread - but their shares are suspended , due to failure to produce accounts .

If any of the above info is inaccurate - please tell me !

John

My understanding was that Caplay had aquired a certain percentage involving a loan in the region of 200k, with the option of taking the rest of the company.
I assumed that's what would happen, but it's getting late now...

The AIM ruling is a right pain when our invetment in Textic is just starting to pay off. Lets hope we can gain control of them soon because they look like a quality outfit with good management and the right industry connections.

1 week to go for either:

1) An RNS with something positive
2) A reverse takeover
3) Shares suspension

2 sells today - not looking good

Has anyone heard of any rumblings from Caplay over the last few days?
A Scottish friend of mine mentioned a celebratory photo shoot outside of Caledonia House with Messer's Knifton & Fabrizi posing for the local press with an over sized champagne bottle.......Curious and curiouser?

Been holding for what seems like an eternity now. To win big you gotta lose big. Certainly achieved the second part :o(

Hopefully some of these rumours/potentials will manifest themselves into positive truths/events.

OK that is good news , and not to spoil things BUT,,, they need to announce some great sales figures or contracts ,,, to really prove this idea works ?
and they have very little time left to do this i think ?

Not too much stock around but they need some attention drawing to them to boost momentum. Could be an interesting March if all goes well...

Any takers for Avon Rubber (Not a Bristol Nightclub)?

The directors have not been withdrawing a salary for over 12 months so apart from their love for the company, they are incentivised to get a deal done. It was interesting to note that they appointed a broker late last year. If they can't do the Textic deal, another deal will be done. The March deadline may be too near, but i doubt they want to lose the aim list. If they do, you become a shareholder in an unlisted company. Trading would be through the company secretary (assuming a demand for the stock).

No need to succumb to the gloom yet darcy5!
