26/11/2008 19:16 | Well , I have a confession to make ! Despite swearing I would never invest another penny in an LK stock - Today's purchase was mine . Why ? well I held 300,000 at a total cost of - £2,391.75p So I bought another 300,000 for a total cost of £248.11p Certainly got my average down !! And losing £2,400 or £2,650 - don't really make much difference ! But also - their losses mainly due to investment in Textic , and the PETS thingy - and they've got cash equal to 3 times their market cap !! and surely they haven't recently appointed new brokers for the fun of it!! All comments welcomed especially from jakNife - for whom , as previously stated , I have a lot of respect . | 2trying

02/11/2008 19:55 | Not sure of my facts here - 1 / - the involvement of Leo K clearly gives me cause for concern . 2 / - was it Caplay that had an involvement / holding in Private Trading Systems ? - which I notice are curently suspended on Plus . 3 / - why didn't they use Montague Pitman stockbrokers ( part of ATR - another Leo K company ) MP is run by Leo's son repeat - I'm not sure of my facts and since I hold shares in this , I obviously would like 'em to rise ! | 2trying

22/10/2008 07:34 | RNS Number : 3874G Caplay PLC 22 October 2008 For immediate release 22 October 2008 Caplay Plc ("Caplay" or the "Company") Investee company update As announced on 9 September 2008, Textic has traded in line with the Board's expectations following the investment by Caplay in Textic in June this year. Caplay holds an option to acquire the entire issued share capital of Textic. Caplay is pleased to inform shareholders that Textic has announced the first closing of a private third party equity funding round to raise £250,000. The fundraising was oversubscribed and Textic received commitments totaling £286,000. As at the close of business on 21 October 2008, Textic had received £241,000 of the committed amount with the balance expected to be received within two weeks. The proceeds will be used by Textic to: * Further enhance and develop Textic Mobile, Textic's mobile carrier proposition; * Accelerate the commercialisation of new services to broaden Textic's product portfolio; and * Establish a US sales presence. Tony Fabrizi, Chairman of Caplay said: "Textic's ability to secure third party equity funding against such a difficult market background is a considerable achievement and is an indication of the significant potential for Textic and its products". Textic also announced earlier this month that it has been appointed to Microsoft's Assistive Technology Vendor Programme ("MATvp") whose principal purpose is to improve the compatibility of assistive technology products with Microsoft products. As a member of the MATvp Textic will receive Microsoft's direct assistance in the development of its web accessibility technology and should benefit from increased visibility through Microsoft's Accessibility Business Unit.
