13/2/2010 11:55 | Great. The performing rights society have been milking people left right and centre. CPUB consolidated nicely here over the past week or two after what has been a good rise. CR | cockneyrebel
13/2/2010 11:27 | some good news........ | 237gmoney
12/2/2010 17:12 | Ah just seen another 21,292 shares gone through at 92p.....someone is keen. Looking good though. | 237gmoney
12/2/2010 16:01 | The MM's have finally given in and pushed up the price. After all the buying this week Im amazed they waited so long but I guess they had a few to shift. hopefully this can kick on again next week. | 237gmoney
11/2/2010 17:25 | Your guess is as good as mine. I was quoted 86.15p - 88.64p earlier and the Market Makers didn't want to buy 4,000 although they would sell that much, and more. Day 23 on the downwards slope. Meic | meict
09/2/2010 08:27 | Day 21 - almost halfway Early morning quotes 86.5p - 88.85p. A couple of problems over the weekend cut out my proposed pub visiting. Another three weeks or so and we'll be off down to East Dulwich to see for ourselves. Meic | meict
08/2/2010 12:25 | Thanks for the updates Meic. Seems the weekend went off with a bang. The Alexandra was jammed packed full from 2pm right the way through to 1am. A friend of mine tried to get in to see the Irish game at 2.30pm an couldnt get in the door....the bar staff looked pretty tired around 9pm....they had to pull in other staff from other pubs as well as it seemed some let them down.... I guess we will have a quiet period here now until the end of March. possibly another trading update but with that already done, maybe a note to say how the year finished and whether they will exceed expectations or not... | 237gmoney
08/2/2010 11:38 | Today's spread is: 86.75p - 89p. The MM's are willing to buy any amount but only willing to sell 1,000. Nothing (two buys of 1,103 and 2,000) showing on the Stock Exchange as usual and nothing at all on PLUS but something must be happening. Meic | meict
05/2/2010 09:33 | Early morning spread: 86.5p - 89p. Two sales on PLUS at 08:23 and 08:24 of 3,000 and 3,450 both @ 86.5p. Market Makers appear to have plenty of stock, willing to sell in parcels of 20,000 at 89p. Not keen to reduce the price or narrow the spread. Nothing happening other than what's quoted above. Meic | meict
04/2/2010 23:10 | I'm slightly surprised none of you have commented on this (released today) Fullers are very London-centric The update looks good to me, although it didn't seem to do MARS (Marstons) or GNK (Green King) any good either (I hold both of these, lots of them!) | timbo003
04/2/2010 14:24 | The Independent's write-up hasn't done us much good so far. Never mind! I'd buy some more if I had any money, my Postal Order doesn't come until the middle of the month. I have a niece - The Siân - living in Richmond. Perhaps it's time I went to visit them again. I can take them to the local Curry House and feed 'em up on the Sunday buffet. [I'll wear my Christmas present.] When I've slept it off, I can take the long way home to Crystal Palace via The Boaters Inn in Kingston. The Durrell Arms in Parsons Green looks interesting and I'm sure I can find a few more. I've always wanted to visit the Anglesea Arms; funny how I never went there, at one time I visited Christie's South Ken quite often. I never wanted to go to The Golden Lion outside Christie's in St. James's but I have, just the once. Now, I'll have to go back to make a comparison. Whilst, I'm doing the rounds, is there anything I should check up on? Any pub between West and South London I should visit? Any thoughts? Meic | meict
04/2/2010 11:46 | David, there just seems to be a load of websites who have the same story about the trading update. I did see that Merrils had a investor conference for the pub industry earlier this week and it appears that many investors want to get back into the pub sector this year.... Hence why there could be a strong possiblity there could be an offer for the whole company in the not too distant future... | 237gmoney
04/2/2010 11:35 | Is there a link to the story in the Indy ? Anyone spotted further coverage.....trade press maybe ? | davidosh
04/2/2010 09:04 | Nice to see this one get the press it does for such a small mkt cap. A well run company which is undervalued based on assets alone, no wonder it gets tipped as its a no brainer. Its just a shame the liquidity stops some from buying as you cant buy in large quantities. Hopefully more tips to come..... | 237gmoney
04/2/2010 08:10 | Fairly tight spread this morning 87.25p - 88.98p and willing to buy and sell. Perhaps the Independent tip will help move it to 95p. Meic | meict
04/2/2010 07:40 | Tipped as a buy in the Indy today. CR | cockneyrebel
03/2/2010 19:15 | Cheers 237g CR | cockneyrebel
03/2/2010 18:45 | nice comment in today's evening standard. Mentioned that Watson might be interested in selling the company...I am sure he will want a hefty premium to todays share price if he is going to sell up... | 237gmoney
03/2/2010 09:23 | The trading update doesnt sound too optimistic but I guess its better to promise a little and deliver a lot. Our expectations should not get out of context here. Current trading is good, the poor weather over the last month would have had a small effect but with the new additions coming on board for the next financial year, there's plenty to be positive about. We are still trading about 30/40% below net asset value on a conservative basis so I would still be a buyer at these prices. | 237gmoney
03/2/2010 08:12 | You mean just like DWN after the cash raishing which you were punting lately. The price crashed today. | ls lowry
03/2/2010 07:57 | Yep, remember it's about cashflow too - results will look great imo. CR | cockneyrebel
03/2/2010 07:23 | Pretty decent trading update: | nurdin
02/2/2010 23:24 | Good Trading with, hopefully, more tomorrow. Another 4p and it challenges the 95p barrier, through that and I can see it rolling on to 120p. There was profit taking yesterday but it all seemed to down as buys. Undoubtedly, wherever it gets to, there'll be some profit taking on Friday. Back to the Float Price by the AGM? Meic | meict |
