Those director deals, buying in tiny amounts post statement, would send a shiver up my spine, all just IMV only.

Lets see.

FT today reporting Capita to launch a strategic review and possible reassessment
of its acquisitive growth strategy.

The review due to complete in January 2017 according to the FT.

What will the review find when some current contracts are reassessed?.

He may take a long term view but recently has changed his stance mutiple times
- CNA, RR. RMG RB. BT.A all dumped.

On his current income fund not sure his overall CPI position would be
ahead of buying prices.

When he started his own fund CPI traded around £9-10 a share from memory.

Woodford is a long term investor......I would imagine he will just hold on until the share price rises again. Maybe he is also still in profit on these having accumulated for some time.
Of course if he takes a contrarian view then he may also be topping up.

Must admit thought Woodford would have sold out,
then again he has probably forgotten more about CPI then I will ever know.

The next update will be interesting.

Trying to be positive chart wise shares often like to re test the lows to make a double bottom which then provides a solid base to build on.

Needs to get back above 600 pretty quick though.

Good news. Just imagine how much short covering needs to be done when the first bit of good news arrives. As a holder, I love to hear a stock's well shorted - it just means there's some guaranteed latent buying which will need to be done in the future!!

Why is capita no longer in top 10 holdings for woodford's equity income fund?

Woodford newsThe largest detractor from performance was Capita, which issued a profit warning towards the end of the month. We have always accepted that there was some cyclicality within Capita's business but a number of other issues have arisen, some of which are one-off in nature. As you would expect, we have met the management to delve more deeply into the issues that the company faces and are reassured that the company is already doing some of the things it needs to do in order to restore the business to a healthier growth trajectory.Although the market is clearly worried about the sustainability of Capita's dividend and the prospect of a dilutive rights issue, we are confident that the dividend is safe and that an equity issue will not be required. Nevertheless, this was clearly a disappointing update from the business but, as is so often the case in these situations, the market's reaction looks disproportionate. We added slightly to the holding towards the end of the month at a very depressed share price level.

This is more like it.

Chart wise 600 is of course major long term support if it can stay above should form a foundation for further upside however it may want to retest it at some point.
