I am actually scared, in fact very scared, for anyone short that is. That long term chart is looking very tasty if we break 48p then there is fresh air above it up to a pound.

You couldn't blame Schroeders for offloading a few. Challenging times ahead. Red finish today I'm afraid.

Even without selling software company , company has to be worth at least 200p , so no wonder there is takeover chatter ,expect short term action which should push the share price much higher.

Maybe, seems like there's a sizeable holding being built, larger trades going through every 5 mins.

In the news yesterday

"Outsourcer Serco was a high riser after an article in The Times suggested it has attracted interest from at least two private equity firms that are quietly running the numbers with advice from investment banks."

Hopefully Capita in play too..

Yeah, I just spreading across loads who have a lot of potential, just to get back to previous levels, or near, looking at the 5yr charts.

Hell, metro bank down 97% from their highs!!! (being over £40 a share)

hamhamham1 .... I looked at ENQ today... I think it looks promising, however I bought a few more of these instead. If we break 50 I think it may get to 90 very quickly. Just my thoughts no advice intended.

Count. I listed them as ones I have an interest in, obviously do your own research. :)
My aim is to double or treble on average, so some double, some more and maybe some less than double??
Just saying my plan, and who knows what will happen to any of those companies?
Some are riskier than others and I monitor the news flows to keep assessing them.
I guess the Metro Bank margin is wide because it is seen as a bigger risk or because it moves a lot percentage wise? I buy the shares outright, not into spreads, I don't have the skills.
I am trying to put 80% in relatively stable cpmpanies and 20% in riskier ones, but what is stable and what is risky is a good question in these times?

Ps I have swapped CINE for EQN today.

Thanks for that list.

I have quite large holdings in 6 of those already.

Will take a look at a few more, especially the one that got me talking to you.... Metro Bank.

I already have holdings in (obviously) Capita, Mitie and SIG (although I went very big rather prematurely on this one). I originally made my money multibagging in a company called Jarvis, way, way back in the day. Held it all the way through to a 30/35 bagger, before the days of CFDs and spreadbets, so had to keep rolling over on T+25 basis indefinitely. My brokers loved me in those days. So I have a particular softspot for the 3 companies I mentioned, even though they are not completely in the same space.

Incidentally, did you know that the current margin requirement for Metro Bank at IG is 50%? That is a little off putting for those who wish to trade on margin.

Anyway, thanks for the response. Always appreciated.

Regards,

THE COUNT!
