05/5/2017 19:36 | from lse bb today blueblood "1st quarter results are due out a week today 12th May in line with TSX listing requirements. Let's hope we get full update on funding for Nigeria and plans for 2nd drill at Liberia in next 6 months." | lithological heterogeneities

28/4/2017 10:11 | FROM LSE BB: Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol “XOP” and on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol “COPL”. + TSX Exchange Corporate Finance Manual December 22, 2016 “Minimum Price Exception” The Exchange will not generally permit Listed Shares to be issued from treasury at a price less than $0.05 nor will the Exchange generally permit any securities convertible into Listed Shares including incentive stock options and Warrants to be issued with an effective conversion price of less than $0.05 per Listed Share." -------------------- Therefore, under TSX rules, unless COPL get a waiver, then they must carry out any fundraisings at a MINIMUM price of CAD $0.05. Currently, this equates to 2.8p/share on the LSE. | lithological heterogeneities
28/4/2017 10:10 | FROM LSE BB: Yes,the new presentation was good news and backed up my belief that Exxon will drill a second well as "Post drilling analysis suggests this is a local aberration" and they are now "incorporating the well results into it’s re-interpretation of Block LB-13". The big question is...why release the new presentation now after months of no news? For me this means they are about to re-start Corporate activity, maybe a fundraising or the release of the re-interpretation of LB-13 results and,if we are really lucky, news of a second drill. Regarding a fundraising, they only had $2.5m at 31 dec 16 and have publicly stated (29 mar 17) they need to raise funds. However, one very important fact that arose before Christmas was that several posters confirmed that, as COPL's primary listing is in Canada, their stock exchange rules say they must raise funds at the equivalent of 3p/share. This could make it very difficult at the current share price and situation but if they announce a second drill it would be very easy and massively oversubscribed as they were "carried" to the tune of $120m by exxon so still have a free carry for the 2nd well. Personally, I prefer to believe there is a very good reason to release the new presentation now, especially with the all important comment of ""Post drilling analysis suggests this is a local aberration" . Something is going on causing the new presentation release and I am hoping its news of the re-interpretation and 2nd drill followed by a fundraising above the 3p equivalent in Canada. I have much more confidence in a 2nd drill now and perhaps well before the 25 sep 17 date that they must do it by. The risk/reward is now ALOT better imho. | lithological heterogeneities
28/4/2017 10:09 | FROM LSE BB: So the question has to be... Why issue a new Presentation now, after all these months of no news? I suggest that,as Ryeguy pointed out below, its because they wanted the following made known: • First well drilled in December 2016 failed to intersect hydrocarbons due to a unexpected velocity anomaly which mimicked a strong hydrocarbon attribute • Post drilling analysis suggests this is a local aberration • COPL is incorporating the well results into it’s re-interpretation of Block LB-13 Why are they telling us this now? Why are they telling us that the duster was due to "a local aberration"? Why are they telling us that they are now "incorporating the well results into it’s re-interpretation of Block LB-13"? For me,this is the clearest sign yet that Exxon intend to drill a 2nd in which COPL have a "free carry". Is this the start of a recovery soon? | lithological heterogeneities
28/4/2017 10:09 | New Presentation 27 APR 2017 • First well drilled in December 2016 failed to intersect hydrocarbons due to a unexpected velocity anomaly which mimicked a strong hydrocarbon attribute • Post drilling analysis suggests this is a local aberration • COPL is incorporating the well results into it’s re-interpretation of Block LB-13 | lithological heterogeneities

29/3/2017 10:09 | I do feel for investors that get caught like ctag, hnr, copl, adl, some times you need to push the stop btm and move on this is a big thing to folk ...& most folk just cant do it ...so if you invest £10.000 you should be getting out at - £8000 well like -£2 0000 that button should be getting pushed..if you don't then that investment will never get pushed & it could just keep going down, till its at 3k and if it AIM well could go allthe way to zip | ronjoe77
