10/6/2015 15:55 | For anyone thinking this is a scam....a chance to quiz the Board and listen to what they have to say. See the last RNS as there is a video Q&A session tomorrow morning at 8.30am. | graham1ty

03/6/2015 13:07 | Zhang congming. Lol. Even the surname in Chinese sounds like a fraud? in mandarin it means clever . lol. ?? | alyo
03/6/2015 13:06 | I'd bet a lot of money the chinamen have bought houses for their families and offset the cash in either canada or Australia.. ;-) | alyo
03/6/2015 12:15 | wonder if the cash pile is safely invested in the caymans? | targatarga
03/6/2015 11:35 | Of course it is. Surprised it is still listed on aim. I suspect they will tap the market for an obligatory placing even though they have "lots of cash". If camkids is still listed in the UK in 3yrs time I'll give you £1k for free mate. | alyo
03/6/2015 09:16 | is this share a scam. | irnbru2
03/6/2015 08:54 | The deadline for submitting questions is on Friday at 9 AM. I left the shareholder list a year ago, so can't submit a question of my own, but I would be very interested to know what questions current shareholders are asking. It would be very revealing to know which questions were asked but not selected for reply. | caradog
29/5/2015 11:16 | Cara, Absolutely do and I intend to ask | edmundshaw
29/5/2015 07:51 | Edmund, don't you have any appropriate questions of your own? You may now have an opportunity to have them answered. | caradog
28/5/2015 19:38 | But it's very similar to Naibu, that's the problem. | topvest
28/5/2015 15:30 | Good news. The top brass seem to want to keep investors onside; hopefully that will mean a resumption of a dividend in the near future, some clarification on the factory and future policy, and an update (hopefully positive) on trading conditions and performance in our company. Some reassurances about how different this company is to Naibu (particularly the management side) would be nice: it is so hard to judge from this distance. I am sure there will be some appropriate questions, and it is bold to face them. | edmundshaw

19/5/2015 15:20 | topvest I guess you are shorting CAMK then if its thats predictable? | swooped
17/5/2015 16:58 | Naibu here we come. It's just so predictable. | topvest
12/5/2015 16:35 | Mircle Yap is Malaysian, and a serial non-exec director across AIM-listed Chinese companies. He's at JQW, also from memory at Aquatic Food Group and some others. So it is a concern that he's not-standing for re-election. There may be some innocent reason, like wanting fewer commitments, or he could have taken against the management at CAMK. It would be good idea to ask him. Anyone got an email address? | rupe1958
12/5/2015 09:01 | Another Chinese NED resigning. Nomad and auditors should follow and abandon the sinking ship before their legal liabilities increase further. Suspension and delisting are now very high probability. | chevalierdaven
08/5/2015 17:40 | There is nothing disastrous about it in my view. It looks to me like its been the plan all along....I presume that the NED has realised what is going on and is getting out now before it descends into a Naibu! Presumably the workload of the Naibu NEDs has increased over recent months and they are probably wondering why they are directors! | topvest
07/5/2015 17:53 | I think this is an indication of how difficult the NEDs can find their Chinese colleagues, who have no experience of dealing with Western investors. From an investor-relations point of view Camkids made a disastrous decision in cancelling the final dividend. My understanding from this RNS is that the NEDs, or at least this NED, tried hard to convince the Chinese to pay up. They refused, despite there being ample cash on the balance sheet, because the order book was looking a little weaker than usual. So he has done the right thing and resigned. | rupe1958
07/5/2015 16:15 | @Caradog - Adidas performance either puts it into context, or explains it! Not sure what to make of Richard Sweet leaving.. | spectoacc
07/5/2015 13:38 | Doesn't mention that he has already accepted a non-exec directorship at Aquatic Foods, along with the other Camkids non-exec Mr Yap. Nor does he seem to have been too bothered about the the out-of-date info about him on the Camkids investors pages that still have him working running the charity shops for Shelter when he left months ago to become a director of Museum of London Trading, running the cafe and shop there. (The Aquatic Foods site describe him as a Commercial Director FOR the Museum of London, which could easily give the impression that he sits on the Museum board, which he does not, I believe.) The chairman of Aquatic Foods is the same John Mclean who chairs the suspended China Food Company. Nice when you can keep these jobs in the family isn't it? PS did nobody spot that Adidas has increased turnover in China by 44% in the first quarter. Puts Camkids' pitiful performance into context. | caradog
07/5/2015 10:05 | That's interesting. So Richard Sweet is apparently saying 'if the board isn't prepared to treat shareholders decently, and pay them a sensible dividend, them I'm not prepared to be a director'. There was obviously a serious disagreement at the last board meeting re. payment of a final dividend. | rupe1958 |
