However, away from the tabloid propaganda of the Mail, Sun and Express, most people hate the Tory party and everything it stands for, since it only serves the rich. #CameronMustGo still trending no 1 on my list.

No it doesn't. Who else can run this country responsibly? Farage has no substance and Ed is clueless. I'm afraid the calibre of those who become politicians has fallen in recent years imv and of the current bunch David Cameron is the most suitable to get this country back on its feet.

Why would the directors or management want to change the status quo . A perfect sinecure , with a stately home in Kent thrown in for good measure , plus fishing rights and a shoot . Also overseas visits to tea estates are not hard work , with sundowners on the veranda etc ... We will all be long gone before this leopard changes its spots .

Interesting they are bringing in a Corporate Finance guy as Deputy CEO… www.investegate.co.uk/camellia-plc--cam-/rns/directorate-change/201410021502053259T/ … renewed focus on acquisitions, disposals or a restructuring in mind perhaps? Time to go wholly private? Or perhaps just line of succession stuff. With the long tradition of dealmaking, you might think another is in the tubes (eg. buy James Finlay off Swire, that would be nice). I'd thought they were gradually becoming a pure play agriculture operation (now 2/3 of revenues and the best return on capital) but with the appointment of an MD of Agriculture, maybe they're sticking with the four divisions after all. No in a word my highest bid was £84 so a big fat nothing done! I will keep an eye on them but looking at the volumes I think the trackers are all gone.I only hold 600 now in an account for the kids so not as interested as I was, good luck to all who hold.

Leaving the Index tonight which is why the price has been hit, look to buy in the auction as the price could get kicked even more.

Please note the move to AIM has been delayed ( see AGM statement 6 Aug ) until they de-list from the Luxembourg SE . So old date of 8 Sept may not be met . They will inform us of a new timetable . Plenty of reasons for the shares to drift lower .

Agreed coolen they dont care about indexing or it appears the other shareholders very much. I can understand the private client angle but they have cast themselves into the wilderness, better to have done it when they fail liquidity next year.......

I do not accept their yarn about coming in and out of the index. It surely cannot be a major distraction to management. More likely, methinks, is the IHT relief which will partially kick in. Has someone at the top drawn up a will recently ?

Not going to short it but will buy some if the price comes off enough, I am told there is a big holder who would sell so in no hurry, most of last years volume was index related so dont want to get trapped.

Oh dear , one of the reasons for moving to AIM is to avoid the volatility of going in and out of the All-Share with the attendant action by the trackers . A great shame when CAM takes itself out of the game ...... we will see the last hurrah and a probable sell off when CAM comes out of the All-Share . One last throw of the dice Exbroker ! Are you going to short it ?

Morning bench2 Yes volumes where very low across all the index stocks in the auctions. Its as if one of the big players has not bothered, they may deem the tracking error too low to bother with and just pick up stocks below the indexing price as and when they can. The stocks falling out for liquidity had their moves in May when FTSE published the results of the liquidity for the year, they made a few howlers and so it was redone, by which time the prices of a few things including CAM had had a wobble. I have bought a few WIL for the bounce, they look to be worth about 230 undisturbed, although I think there is stock to come out from a tracker unless they have transferred it in house or have done a complex derivative trade with mega bank.I sold my CAM in the auction, it was the only way to do the voulme as the price fell away during the afternoon, too many punters heading for the exit, no bottle!!

Exbroker , were you slightly disappointed by the result of the auction ? Are the index funds wising up to the cost of late entry . Had they bought more stock before the last day . We did not get any big drops on the exit stocks either : Wilmington , IGRE , Phoenix etc ....... any thoughts

No coolen I dont move in circles of the city any more, I am a man looking in from outside. I have enough of these for it to matter so knowing the flows helps me to time trades. The flows tomorrow will be buyers look for volume on the day to be over 100k and an auction that could be 60k+
