An interesting take on the situation in Zimbabwe and the decision to raise the price of fuel, leading to the protests. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/world-africa-46878267

So Mr or Mrs 944,016 who paid 1.27p the other day sells for 0.92p Must be a laugh working in a mm's office in this market. The hard part of their job is counting up all the money they make every day

Hi jungmana, Yes Zimbabwe is in a mess and it will take a fair few years for a recovery to happen. I got respect the BOD of CMB. They always have the shareholders in mind. With trouble on the streets yesterday, they issue a wee update today to calm any nerves. Regards.

Must be 99% traders 1% investors in this market now If a share does not move within 30 mins they all bail out. Biggest trades are buys though, smart money sees the value. Once all the quick buck merchants are out and most already are the price should gradually edge back up 150k max online now at 1.0975p

The problem with Cambria is all the money is stucked in Zimbabwe. You can only transfer small foreign currency out of that country. That's the restrictions there

Also the market is full of jittery 5 min traders. They buy then sell within seconds if they think it's going back down Easy for the mm's to flush a few out too low, way too low !

PER of 3 or less. First few chasers already selling for a loss. I'll sell at 2p+

As normal in this one dropping it on a fraction of what it took to make the price rise. mm's doing their usual thing. Not to keen to drop the offer though

Indeed .... in these times of high volalility then it's good to have a bit of low tech (brick makers) to balance a portfolio ... Rome wasn't built in a day ...

Https://www.herald.co.zw/willdale-eyes-increased-brick-production-2 Willdale is optimistic of better business prospects in the future considering the amount of household and Government infrastructure construction projects taking place in the country. Cont... Bodes well for CMB's % investment in the brick maker, Radar holdings.

Indeed - best wishes to all. A couple of months ago then we saw how rapidly the share price can move-up on good news - so let us look forward to several pieces of good news this year which help to enhance the share price longer term ....

New Broker note then soon on Cmb should be positive Cambria Africa Plc (AIM: CMB), the AIM listed investment company, with controlling interests in companies well-positioned to benefit from the growth and modernisation of Zimbabwe's economy, is pleased to announce the appointment of SVS Securities plc to act as its joint broker with immediate effect. Cambria Africa is focused on investments in operating companies in Zimbabwe. Its wholly owned operations in Zimbabwe are: · Payserv Africa, a FINTECH company with $7.57 million in revenues in FY 2018. Payserv's Paynet Zimbabwe subsidiary is responsible for switching 40% of all financial transactions in Zimbabwe. It also has a significant presence in payroll management and consumer loan processing. · Millchem Zimbabwe, a value chemicals distributor with $1.87 million in revenues in FY 2018. Cambria's unaudited preliminary consolidated earnings in FY 2018 were 0.52 US cents per share on revenues of US $9.44 million.

Did you know they made 0.52p EPS in last results so share price sits on a PER of just over 2 Outlook While the Company warned its shareholders of the impact of shifts in parallel exchange rates in its RNS of 6 October 2018, parallel premiums have fallen to 250% from 400%. Payserv Zimbabwe continues to receive funding at 1:1 to the US Dollar for payment of license fees and the repayment of loans. While Payserv anticipates a rise in overhead costs, the recent reorganization should save the company about $400,000 annually in cost-to-company compensation. This savings should somewhat cushion the Company from expected inflationary pressures.

I doubt it. I think the 400k+ premium buy triggered some interest. People were scrambling to pay 1.8-2.1p not long ago so sub 1.25p to many is good value, all this market is ...is a transfer from impatient to patient, almost every penny stock will spike a few times a year so it's a case of waiting for it to happen

tenapen If I have a bit of size I tend to leave limit orders all the way up. Say I held 500k here, you know every now and again it gets chased to 1.5p and sometimes 2p I would leave 100k sell order at 1.5p, 1.7p, 1.9, 2.1p and 2.5p the last being a lucky hit, then when you return from work and there has been good news and a spike you know some of them will get triggered. If say only 3 get hit then 2 weeks later when it gets back to around 0.9-1.1p range you buy back the 300k and replace the orders. At some point something has to change, the company either goes bust or the shareprice just keeps rising to 3-5-7p+

It's good advice Dave, I have day job and not at a computer, so not easy to buy and sell on a spike. I'm happy to hold long term as I'm sure long term I will do well with cmb. Cheers.
