Anyone remember any of the past listed care homes that reached nothing for shareholders?

Was Southern Cross one of them? All this NAV stuff is meaningless when companies make no profits and debts mount up.

Maybe. But if trading is good this year as they are already claiming, and the share price rises and looks likely to continue doing so, they can refinance ahead of the 18 months.

If they did break up the business though, interesting to consider what the more mature adult division is worth as a stand-alone. Possibly more by itself than the mc would suggest currently. Which is I guess why the impact on the share price of today's announcement isn't all that marked.

Have a feeling they may be perceived as a forced seller to reduce debt. They have bought some time at a cost re the new debt terms.

Interesting that trenche A has to be paid back in 18 months and they're reviewing selling off the adult division...

I am no expert but the new debt facilities sound a bit onerous and reiterating a weak H1. Be interesting at the open. Think it may be a bit nervy.

Nice end to the week - I've £180/pt currently at just under avge 67p. Expecting to extend this position as the share price moves back toward 150p by summer.

57.5 - not sure if it's drift or bad information leaking out. Volume isn't particularly high, so I'm still opting for drift and a positive surprise at the end of the month. This has to bottom out at some point and the issue as far as I can see for now is will they look like they've finally got a grip, or will there be further downside disappointment with final numbers even worse than the second/revised profit warning. Even if they're only slightly worse, I think the share price will take a further hammering...

ok, I'm back in @ £100/point. Will probably open more positions when funds available next month, and mindful it may slip/drift further, but suspect the bad news is out of the way now.

I think there will be positives in the end of April update, but not sure how the market will react to the final results, which will be a reminder of the series of disappointments/mismanaged expectations over the last year - can see it going either way and only a real return to a more sensible valuation toward the end of 2016.

Reckon continued drift until management reassure on trading and money raising/covenants. Holders will be very disappointed here so far.

closed my small bet with 50% loss. too many uncertainties and management clearly dont really know what is going on. their rns should read

-sorry guys we are out of control on costs and cant really put together a financial plan without asking for help. also should mention broken bank covenants and currently considering equity raising at deeply discounted price assuming no more skeletons in cupboard. hay his is a small cap after all and dont give me your whining story about trusting management. we are all human and those who are without sin cast the first stone.
