27/2/2016 23:30 | The guide margin was missed by £3m and dividend suspended but if they get a grip of costs, the future should see a better performance for 2016.I suppose it depends on whether the missed guidance warrants the fall, or the slow recovery is justified on fundamentals. | dgarvey
23/2/2016 09:12 | I think it's topped out for now and have closed positions I took from 57p. Looking to open more when it drops back a bit. | bennytheball

10/2/2016 19:46 | Surprisingly limited trading range today with the share price at close virtually unchanged from yesterday. Almost as if some arbitrary figure had been chosen at which to hold the price while a big player or two hovered up everything in sight. The company will already know how 2016 has opened in presenting its new revenue/profit expectations. I can't imagine it will be so careless managing expectations a third time. The statement had a 'back to basics' feel - Could it be they were naïve in assuming the market would be as relaxed about missing targets as GI were previously, but will now have learnt a lesson and present a more modest budget and then exceed revenue/profit targets? They have grown very fast from nothing over ten years and developed a very good reputation for quality... I take the point about EBITDA being a bit meaningless, but I don't buy the idea they are making a loss and heading for administration. And I also believe their occupancy numbers are already good - better than eg Priory. If I go back in tomorrow will I turn out to have been insightful and bold, recoup my losses and maybe make a killing, or is this merely a strategy of denial re the £50k I've lost since November? | bennytheball
10/2/2016 16:50 | fair point Eastbourne1982. | boycie1
10/2/2016 16:45 | boycie1, You are being a bit naive pal, Saleem Asaria bought £200,000 worth of shares at nearly three times the current price in November, smart move ??? obviously not, the guy is clearly clueless however he is being paid a shed load by a loss making business so a few share buys here and there are relative chicken feed. Do a bit of research and see what Saleem Asaria has taken out of the company in terms of remuneration. | eastbourne1982
10/2/2016 16:41 | Hi jhan66, To be fair I am monitoring Cambian as a possible risk / reward play at these levels. I just hate the business and the management clearly aren't capable of steadying the ship, i.e. they have no control of costs and when all is said and done they are losing money, the property is the only thing going for this however obviously the market doesn't think it is enough hence the battering this has taken, if it wasn't for the property the banks would have been all over Cambian like a cheap suit and this business would have raced into administration. A few weeks ago I said this could double or go bust imho, that was when the price was around £1.15, see my comments earlier on this thread. If the management get their act together or are replaced this has potential however if things continue as they are the future looks bleak. | eastbourne1982
10/2/2016 16:39 | why did the directors buy shares just a few weeks back at three times times the current share price(not small amounts) if things are really that bleak? | boycie1
10/2/2016 16:34 | What good is the Freehold Property unless they close the operational business and suddenly sell it all and return cash to shareholders. The company has to make profits, and that's what the warning was about. | nick rubens |
