05/12/2016 08:43 | Asset sale 399 mill - debt 253 mill child service ebitda 9.3 mill and growing market cap 252 minus - cash 147 mill cash surplus on asset sale child service division valued at just 105 mill. (That is circa the same as turnover in that division for this financial year) I did sell some of my holding at open after the great run of late ,however mid term it looks very cheap. let's see what happens after the conference call regards capital return | evil_doctor_facilier
05/12/2016 08:04 | There is the rns I use investegate for rns. Free and comprehensive Have a look. And you can go back years on any company | treble in 1999
05/12/2016 08:04 | OK, it's there now - sounds excellent news. Look forward to your 200p :-) | bennytheball
05/12/2016 07:45 | Brilliant. No RNS above - where do you get that info treble? | bennytheball
05/12/2016 07:35 | 377m. Debt free and 40m return to shareholders 18m starting profit going forward Return to dividends 2017 Looks very good for the future Maybe 200p by year end Good luck holders, only about 35% free float of shares. Rest investment holders | treble in 1999
02/12/2016 17:47 | Not a bad end to the week. Looking forward to Monday. :-) | bennytheball
01/12/2016 18:58 | BB Yep definitely is. As long as it's a good deal and allows money to develop the business, short term share movements do not over concern me. Especially with Griffiths and the French holding. See what tomorrow brings, last day before Italian's start the road to texit. Think that's priced into the market, but bonds not looking good. | treble in 1999
01/12/2016 17:21 | Hi treble. Excruciating isn't it :-) Not long to wait though. | bennytheball
01/12/2016 16:44 | Two substantial sales at 11.40 and 15.31 delayed by market makers. How are they allowed to do this. Hopefully they paid that price in the knowledge that they'll make a nice profit on them come the announcement. Share price holding up a little. Here's hoping. | treble in 1999
30/11/2016 10:07 | While we wait for announcement per dcc, if it is £400m then once the bank paid off etc £250m to invest. The demand for the childcare is pent up, it's all over the press and Govt figures. Our market cap is £230m. I see nothing but upside from here. Maybe a short term sell off, but Griffiths and the other investors are looking for a lot more from this. If cmbn want a clean balance sheet come year end, they must make a decision soon. Probably already done and bankers dd being run over it all Still think 200p by March, subject to eurozone not blowing up. | treble in 1999
24/11/2016 15:27 | Hi Leeson31, thanks for the input, I do have an IG demo account so will have a look at their charting options again. Am I right in thinking though, you need a live account to access the share dealing side of things like view the regular FTSE, NYSE and NASDAQ securities, as oppose to their CFD/spread bet options? Or am I completely missing something in the demo interface? Although that said, I do like the idea of a stand-alone app in the sense that it doesn't necessarily have to be online all the time (as long as the EOD data for the relevant market(s) have been downloaded in advance of course). | darkcloudcover
24/11/2016 09:30 | darkcloudcover: why not use ig index? you wouldnt have to download money, but just use the charts for what you need? | leeson31
24/11/2016 09:28 | Can't help you DCD, but would be interested to see what you find If all bids are in, and a pre year end sale required, presume they'll have to make their minds up pretty sharpish. Hope it's not a buy the story sell on news scenario. | treble in 1999
24/11/2016 08:12 | People, anyone use a stand-alone app for charting/analysis on the mac platform? I only want a fairly simple setup where I can view RSI and Stochastics set to my own profile and then be able to toggle through the stock symbols....Chart Maestro is exactly what I need, but it appears this may not be supported any longer :-( Any suggestions to check out would be greatly appreciated. | darkcloudcover
21/11/2016 11:18 | Sounds like your doing ok DC Ppg, will have another look. If bids are in, won't be long, presumably cmbn doing some dd before accepting and undoubtedly chatting with its bankers. | treble in 1999
21/11/2016 10:38 | Hi treb, no didn't get back in (although kind of wished i'd held out a little longer tbh). But after a 127% increase I felt i'd made enough and needed the capital for that other stock I mentioned (PPG). Which have just released news this morning that one of the big 6 energy supplier want to join forces on a project, so in the end the capital switch couldn't of worked out better ;-) Up 130% since the beginning of Nov! BTW, I believe sealed bids were in on Wed, but don't know any more than that unfortunately... It is tempting to re-invest though if you guys are thinking it will spike that much. I'm just not knowledgeable enough yet to make that decision and commit. Only just cutting my teeth in this investing world! | darkcloudcover
21/11/2016 09:23 | No idea BB. Wow 400m. That pays off first 130m of debt. Leaves another 270m for new places. That means more profit, with the loss of 25m from adult side, where does that leave share price. 200p | treble in 1999
21/11/2016 08:52 | DarkCloudCover said above that BC, UHS and maybe Centerbridge were lining up to bid with a £400m valuation. Anyone hear whether bids came in from all three by the 18/11 deadline? | bennytheball
17/11/2016 17:09 | Tomorrow is the 18th, what do you think DCC? Are you back in at all. | treble in 1999
14/11/2016 09:51 | Yeah, loving the look of this morning's graph.....NOT! Pulled the trigger too early there obviously :-( On a side note, PPG was up 14% in the first half hour this morning. Volume about 10 times.....missed that one too! Cracking start to the week for me. Enjoy the rally for cmbn in the coming week people! | darkcloudcover
14/11/2016 09:36 | What a difference 2 days makes.. LOL. Good luck guys, looking well bid. | butchdogg
14/11/2016 09:33 | DC If your right about the 18th, looks like you are missing out on some fun and games here. Still think the share has some more to come over the next few months | treble in 1999
14/11/2016 09:22 | next leg up imo, PT ~175p then 200p | leeson31
13/11/2016 16:00 | Too much capital tied up in this one and have seen a few other stocks which have a lot of growth expected in near term (kicking myself for missing an 80% rise on LSE:PPG in the last few weeks. 18th of this month I believe, but don't hold me to it.... | darkcloudcover
11/11/2016 18:39 | How do you know bids by 18th and which 18th. On that basis why did you sell?? | treble in 1999 |
