I don't hold currently so no shareholder bias and I have to say I thought the documentary was very weak. The reporter spent 4 months undercover and came up with a few minor incidents such as naughty child climbing onto a wall or roof (who hasn't done that as a child!) and a member of staff trying to control a very disruptive child who was swearing and hitting out (the staff member was tolerant and quite calm imo considering the situation) Cambian's comments were I thought very good.

The share price got ahead of itself. The share price divi was a one off. The selling by a long term holder has got the market twitchy.
might fall a little more at this time, before hopefully it's profits and plans come to fruition.
It's still a 3 year plan, that could change if it's market is expanding faster.

Special 11% dividend to be paid on 15th September.
Share price should soon recover as buyers take advantage of bargain entry point.

A payment of 27.1p per Ordinary share will be made on 15 September 2017 to ordinary shareholders on the register on 1 September 2017. The ex-dividend date is 31 August 2017.

Benny, It will have an ex dividend date in the announcement, usually a few weeks ahead. After that date you are not entitled to the divi, but the share price usually falls to compensate.

When the dividend gets formally announced, is it generally payable to those who hold at the time of announcement, or to those who hold at some later/earlier point?

The divi is one off. Going forward more like 4-5p pa for starters.

No date yet issued for when the divi will be paid. Expect an appropriate drop on announcement. May even get an indication of half year trading as well.

209p. Given the dividend will be 27p per share (currently 13% return) I think there's still quite a bit of mileage here. (Even at share price of 300p it's still 9%)

Assume also the price will drop quite a bit when it goes xd...

Griffiths now over 20% at these levels.

No takeover yet, but they must be expecting it somewhere in the next 2 years.

If your long, its really a long game with double your money from here.
