01/6/2017 10:04 | Bill Hickman: if you look back at all the RNS's over the last few years, they are all positive with the exception of the Tesla debacle and the share price has pretty much been in a down trend except when Tesla opened its giga factory when sentiment in the sector improved briefly. I don't consider it a buy right now but what do I know. There are plenty of people out there who had their fingers burnt and I'm only too pleased that I still have all my fingers after selling up and taking a hit at 0.58p. We could see a reversal as the price is at a 52 week low...... | rossowheels
01/6/2017 09:49 | Cyfalafwr: If they liquidated their investments they would probably have to do so at a discount unless a buyer was willing to pay full market value or a premium. This is why the price of Cadence does not track the prices of its investments. It's therefore hard to value Cadence on the basis of the current value of its investments alone. One needs to look at the management and ask whether it has the skills to add value to its assets. I would say that the current market price answers this question. | rossowheels
01/6/2017 09:35 | If they sold all the stock they have in BCN EMH etc would the total now be equal to the market capital? Is this company being shorted? | cyfalafwr
01/6/2017 08:38 | riskvsreward: I suppose that it is good value if you look at what's in the ground. Unfortunately, it's going to stay in the ground until they can dig it up and sell it for a profit. Before then expect further capital injections to fund admin expenses, drilling, feasibility studies, plant and operational costs. In two years time things will look very different although I've been saying that for the last few years! | rossowheels
31/5/2017 20:05 | Can someone explain why this is good value? My reading of the account is that it has equity, on a mark to market basis, of £25 million, and it has a market value of £34 million, so it is valued on a premium of almost 40%. For what? for just giving your money for the director to buy on the market the stocks like BCN etc, often at a more elevated price than you can buy yourself on the market, and you pay the directors to the tune of £1.3 m a year plus other company fees of nearly £2 million? | riskvsreward
31/5/2017 16:31 | You are right but if we are right then we should get the biggest rewards. | bill hickman
31/5/2017 16:27 | Sadly, those that are the market influencers don't like to buy on future promises of jam, it's down to us risk takers to load up in the hope we will be rewarded when our lithium is physical & used in battery production. | bobby.ifa
31/5/2017 16:22 | All the news recently has been good news from KDNC's investments so the share price drop has made no sense surely one item of good news will be the trigger to turn the share price around and see a rise as fast if not faster than the fall in share price ? That is what I'm expecting. | bill hickman
31/5/2017 15:19 | I agree with you hazelst, limited downside and with more chance of big upside. | bill hickman
31/5/2017 15:17 | Have been looking very closely at KDNC and share price is out of step with the investments in my opinion and have bought in today. Looks way to cheap to me. Could easily be a big winner over next 2 or 3 years. | bill hickman

31/5/2017 09:57 | This is an excellent medium/ long term investment. All projects are being fast-tracked for the surge in lithium demand.I'm relaxed about the share price and will probably add a few more while I can. | hazelst
24/5/2017 23:18 | So much talk about Lithium but absolutely no action. Hence the continuing decline in the share price. Until Cadence's investments start to produce commercial amounts of Lithium, the share price will continue its downward trend. I've held too many REM/Cadence shares for years in the belief that one day all will become well. However, I now have very strong doubts that any good will come from my investment. I will probably continue to hold but undoubtedly more in hope than expectation. Good luck to all fellow equally frustrated long term holders. | sorksandnorks

21/5/2017 07:22 | 28 Feb 2017 www.financialobserve Today, the batteries for Tesla cars are manufactured by Panasonic, but Tesla plans to launch its own Megafactory next year. Because of potential problems with the supply of lithium Tesla is now intensely seeking contacts with manufacturers. It has its sights set on companies with an established position and new players alike. Therefore, it is dealing with both Albemarle and Pure Energy Minerals, which is about to launch its mining activity in Nevada. Tesla is also ready to invest in the construction of mines in Mexico and in increasing the production capacities in Chile. The price of lithium could be impacted if the batteries in which it is used are replaced by other solutions, e.g. by fuel cells. According to experts, however, this will not happen earlier than in 10-15 years. Until then, demand for lithium will continue to grow. | firemansam653
