Reading the C4XD website I have just realised that the two partnerships already mentioned, and the huge figures, are in addition to ongoing royalties if they make it to market. So we could be looking at more more than 800 million Euros with royalties (even if they are single digits) on top!

C4XD doesnt seem apprecaited by UK markets - while a long way off commercial use, if the two treatments (or just one of them) did get to market, it would be potentially huge.

There have some buyers sniffing around of late - very rarely happens unless something is going on. We shall no doubt see fairly soon.

Not saying it's defunct, the gene editing trial may not work and if it does, will probably be expensive. However, a deal on NRF2 is way overdue.

I am sure I saw an interview when he said they were talking to potential partners and they needed more data to firm up on a potential deal. If this treatment is defunct now then surely they would have taken it off the pipeline list?

NRF2 is one we expected 2 or 3 years ago and appeared to be very close from what Clive was saying. They delayed it to look at sickle cell disease but don't know what's happened, maybe the results weren't good. There is also a gene editing trial going on for SCD which could be a cure rather than a treatment (can't remember the company)

Edging up - if you look at the website, you will see:-

Oral NRF2 activator is further down the line than Oral IL-17A Inhibitor Programme (partnered with Sanofi) but doesnt have a partner deal in place yet. I wonder if something could be brewiing here? Partnership announcement on the way?

Interesting to see it creeping up for "no apparent reason". Few more buyers dipping their toes into the water. Are we due the IND trial results soon? If it is successful then another milestone payment must be due?
