It looks as though a revised quote of 0.15/0.25p is on its way.
But will this be sufficient to stimulate any selling ?
The result will quite possibly be the exact reverse; leading to further upward movements.

I do think 1gw should join the company in some capacity to protect the small PI going forward.

Pretty sure we have over 10% if he needed a mandate from us.

We have always known that DT and his pals run this as their own private fiefdom.

The £2M wage bill shows how out of control he is.

The whole point of a BOD is that they work in the interests of shareholders.

DT should have negotiated from a position of relative strength and taken offers towards the end of last year. Delisting should have been plan B/C.

The Newlands exit shows what his supporters think of Dt's abilities.

That said the share price has zero reflection on the real value of the business going forward.

@loafofbread - thanks for your post 12782 about Animalcare

I was struck by the purposeful, strategic paragraph:

"In 2022 we took a significant step to strengthen our novel pipeline in a pre-clinical collaboration and licensing deal with Orthros Medical, a Netherlands-based research company specialising in VHH antibody technology. Initially focused on treatment of osteoarthritic pain in dogs, we are now extending the investigative programme to horses. Overall, the project is progressing well and we are excited about the future potential of this area of medical science. Our development pipeline also features potentially value-creating lifecycle projects that aim to expand and extend the reach of products in our existing portfolio."

... and how that contrasts with BYOT's vague seaweed project that, so far as I remember, wasn't developed with any disclosed commercial collaborators(- even though the patent seemed to suggest that the extraction method could result in a product that cures most illnesses:)).

The lack of BYOT's commercial ability and rigour has been evident for some years - also illustrated by the vagueness of the return or even calculated expectation on the licensing deals.

IMO new management is required whether or not it is delisted.

Animalcare results out this morning. £27M in cash. MCap 2X turnover and 10X EBITDA.

Gives you an idea of what we should be valued at a few years out?

Inorganic growth
Pursuing external opportunities to drive sustainable growth is a strategic priority for the Group. This is reflected in the level of senior management focus dedicated to the identification and assessment of value-creating deals. Inorganic opportunities can manifest as M&A, in-licensing or partnering with the objective of expanding the make-up and reach of our existing portfolio or adding innovative new pharmaceutical products to the pipeline.

At all times Animalcare takes a disciplined approach to acquisitions and continues to see scope for further expansion with several prospects in development. We continue to identify plenty of opportunities giving us the confidence that we can execute attractive external deals aided by our strong financial platform.

Developing new products
Innovation is a key driver of growth in our industry. That's why we are increasing our R&D focus and capability on investigative drugs that we believe have the potential to change veterinary practice.

In 2022 we took a significant step to strengthen our novel pipeline in a pre-clinical collaboration and licensing deal with Orthros Medical, a Netherlands-based research company specialising in VHH antibody technology. Initially focused on treatment of osteoarthritic pain in dogs, we are now extending the investigative programme to horses. Overall, the project is progressing well and we are excited about the future potential of this area of medical science. Our development pipeline also features potentially value-creating lifecycle projects that aim to expand and extend the reach of products in our existing portfolio.

Strong foundations
Our future is being built on increasingly strong foundations. Financially, the reduction in our net debt from around £23.0m in 2019 to what was a net cash positive position of £1.7m at the 2023 year end, is a significant achievement and gives us more options as we continue to seek out value-creating opportunities.

Our balance sheet improved further in February 2024 with the disposal of UK-based Identicare Ltd. The sale of our majority stake in the non-core microchipping and pet owner-focused services company for £24.9m realised significant value for the Group and our shareholders. As a result, at the time of the announcement the Group's net cash position increased to around £27.0m.

"Maybe. But it was also the last day of the tax year"

True, it was end of last tax year. The Newlands still have over 3% of TLY, they didn't sell out there, as no TR1 (so far!!!). In fact c40% of TLY is still held by Institutions. It'll be interesting if Newlands now end up increasing their holding in TLY...

Not long now to see if a white knight appears here before the vote. Otherwise I think it'll be delist or administration.

If our buyer wishes to continue adding then the Byotrol share price will need to rise again tomorrow in the cause of encouraging some selling, which today virtually dried up.

But oh no stupid mudbath is so arrogant on to admit he is wrong yet again.
