Loaf,

"The BOD blames almost everything else for the situation. I missed the line about their own total incompetence having a fair bit of input!"

That's exactly what 1gw and his mates, inc you, do.
I posted company/sector newsflow on rthm, trmr, byot, Nano....

When the shares inevitably crashed, 1gw and his mates with all the multiple ids blame management. They use the same warnings I'd been posting and post them, in hindsight, as if it's their own opinions.

Look at HVO & Polb, which 1gw and his mates with multiple ids are ramping.... exactly the same

Virtually all of 1gw's shares crash. Virtually of 1gw's stories turn out to be BS.

Look at the posts from his mates, Barkboo, Football.

Football's own admission..to see off posters bashing (posting a contrarian view).

You are correct on the price of course.
Somehow, when posting, I could not quite come to terms with just how low BYOT had fallen.

Another Stilo would be just brilliant clocktower, for although I had to wait for 4 years; distributions following the MBO have trebled my investment, with the promise of more to come.
I also recently followed Pelatro off market on an exit M/Cap of just £700k .
May any pittances be at the top end the scale.

So mudbath you fancy another Stilo and wait several years to get a pittance.🤣

You need to take 30% of the shares to stand a chance, not a few million.

Like many micro caps listed on AIM, Byotrol has provided much entertainment over many years, although sadly in my case, not an overall profit.
Nevertheless, having regard its current miniscule market cap, their might be some reward for late entrants.
Microscope envisages holders ending up with a "pittance" at best; yet that is exactly what the MMs are currently seeking.
A total gambling instinct on my part has led me to buy 4.6 million shares circa 0.96p this afternoon.
The next couple of weeks could prove interesting (hopefully).

Even people trying to sell now, sadly, or holding for the proposed renaissance, will end up with at best a pittance imho.

So i don't really see what they have to lose by voting against the motion, unless the amount involved is significant to them, and if it is of course, then I totally understand them selling now to get whatever they can salvage.

The only way to oust DT is a takeover bid before the vote. If this goes to the vote then either the company is taken private or it will go into administration. If it goes into administration then shareholders lose the lot.

Therefore, after the vote, I doubt there will be an opportunity to oust DT.

1gw and his mates could buy out the company, they have the means.
However, that would mean they would not be able to sway PIs with their stories on other shares and share price manipulation with their hundreds of trades.

In the time I followed this company, there were basic misjudgements by DT. The misleading stories and ramping came from 1gw and his mates.

Couple more tips for you pigsbladder.

Don’t fall in love with a share.

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

It looks like you made both those mistakes.

CP if it gets voted down even those who support the resolution are, imho of course, likely to insist DT goes pretty much immediately, due to failure to get resolution through, amongst other reasons of course.....

Which also could even yet help save the company thereafter, I suspect.

Edit: I'm sure DTs line will be, 'it's this or bust' even if partly as an attempt to get institutions to back him.

Let's see if there's enough willing to call his bluff???

I don't know about gpt-4, but if I remember correctly, the company is obliged to keep a copy of the shareholder register on the premises, and make it available to shareholders on request. From my experience they can faff around in order to delay access as long as possible, but will eventually conform.

Then the letter-writing (no emails on the one I saw) starts...

"Take control" of what, clocktower ?

The reason for so many leaving the market I suspect, is that directors have been allowed to get away with fleecing investors through their lifestyle and mining value away from small investors, and even when it can be seen that there is no regulations or accountability for their actions, the market turns a blind eye and allows investors to be defrauded and because the SFO doesn’t look at anything below around £50 million, so it’s become the casino of choice.

I do not think that applies in this case, it is just failure to sell in volume and poor margins for the company and resellers.

I said sometime ago, it needs new leadership and stakeholders now need to delist and remove the BOD and take control.

Subsequent to any delisting; is the plan for Solvay to buy Byotrol, or for Byotrol to monetise the remaining licensing agreements.
The latter looks the more practical.
I do not see much residual value for shareholders; as reflected by the pityful share price and the lack of any enthusiasm from buyers; apart from DT that is, and we know what poor judgement the guy has demonstrated over the years.

London Stock Exchange to lose hundreds of companies by 2028, warns City broker

Hundreds of companies could leave the London Stock Exchange over the next four years as large buyers take advantage of low business valuations, a City broker has warned.

Peel Hunt raised concerns about the “relentless” pace of companies leaving markets as shareholders are also keen to agree to offers amid relatively weak performance by UK equities.

micro - that process really needs to start with the large shareholders and the money (that they absolutely need, let's not pretend otherwise) which would give them the power to choose the board and define the business plan. Coming at it from the other direction would likely be stymied by incumbents.

I also think if delisting fails then it's likely to be administration.
I can't see DT accepting he got it wrong and allow the company to continue.
The simple fact is DT sees it as his baby and he would not want anyone else digging around, especially as given the way VP resigned 6 months ago.

Ah the old fear tactic clocktower, vote with the board or else you'll lose it all .... where have I heard that from you before, lol.... :)

Survival should be possible on the market with careful cash control, a new management with a bit of initiative about them, and possibly a fundraising by large shareholders. It should be do-able imho on all that we know hitherto.
