Thank you for you comment, I so want to believe in the residual affect of any Byotrol product as this should almost be a licence to print money

I know there are residual products that remain active on the surface for a short while, but I do feel that once a surface is touched then I don't see how it can remain active, and there is also the thought that any product left on a surface in a public area rather than say a professional kitchen has the risk of causing irritation to people that are sensitive to chemicals.

I have a case of Hycolin 24hour with Byotrol Technology on my desk and it has on the reverse the CLP exclamation mark as link below, I would post the image if I could

I would also add and please correct me that Byotrol products are only tested to 99.99% where professional products really should be 99.999% so log 4 versus log 5

Don't want to get boring, but more on log counts here

Finally this document has to be checked by professional buyers and users of Hycolin 24 and form part of risk assessments, commonly known as the MSDS, this is not unique to Byotrol and any business has to have a full compliment of MSDS for each product they have on site.

Hope this helps, and I really am waiting for some positive news from Byotrol as I would build quite a position as the benefits of a 24 hour residual product even if touched would be fantastic, all sort of areas to be used, catering outlets, classrooms, visitors rooms in care homes, doctors, dentists we really should be blowing the doors off, but with the current trajectory of the share price, the lack of multiple contract wins, even direct to business or via janitorial distributors and the amount of time this has been going on, I will patiently bide my time and watch from the wings, because at this price level if they get it right, there should be some serious money to be made.

Just my thoughts, DYOR I am not invested, but would want to be if and when the story progresses further

Good luck all LTH

The challenge to that football, is why did the shareprice fall all the way back to 6p after spiking to 10p following the Midas tip, or indeed more recently why has it fallen to the current level from the nearly 8p level following this year's April TU?

That surely is down in large part to disillusioned investors selling. They may not have picked up the phone to DT to ask what was going on, or posted something on this bulletin board, but selling your shares is a pretty good sign that you see better opportunities elsewhere.

We're not a tightly-held private company with just a handful of shareholders who DT can speak to regularly. Particularly following the Midas tip, I think we must have had a large influx of retail shareholders. How many of them are still holding? How might that have been different if the company had been able successfully to engage them in what it was doing and to keep reminding them of the prize that it was aiming for?

Ultimately, for those who are committed long-term holders and are prepared to sit on their hands (or add) during periods of share price weakness, that doesn't really matter. The same goes for management's own holdings. But I think you can argue that the company has let down those weaker holders who bought in good faith following the Midas tip or the April'21 TU, but have now sold up because the company couldn't communicate a continuing compelling vision of the future and/or because the company apparently didn't set much store by keeping all investors informed of changes to its communication plans in a timely manner.

And the cost of this to the company is surely at the very least the cost of new equity which helps to determine the opportunity set open to it. If a good but relatively large acquisition opportunity came along and the share price was still 8p, or even 10p, the company could consider it with considerably less dilution than would be necessary at 4p or 5p. That difference might be the difference between existing shareholders supporting or rejecting the acquisition case.

Just remember no one ever complains to the company apart from people who posted on this message board and all the other shareholders are happy as Larry

Stevesham Thanks for 8783 - also supernumerary 8789
Packaging and advertising claims used to come under the remit of the Advertising Standards authority and they were/probably still are very PC on advertising claims when challenged and require the promoters to have strong scientific proof of the claims - Claims can be challenged both by consumers and competitors -

I can smell a lot of storms developing in this area of killing and preventing transmission of viruses.

Jury still out (imo) as to whether BYOT will fullfil investors upside expectations.

Edited - share price Just hit a 1 year low of 4.55p mid and 4.4p bid - (imo) Downside momentum likely to continue.

It's almost as though the company takes pleasure in demonstrating its lack of focus on the "little" things such as keeping its investor website up to date, communicating with its "ordinary" investors or sticking to guided/expected dates for reports/meetings.

If the shareprice was shooting the lights out because everyone could see that the company was doing well at the "big" things, or even if it clearly had a lot of support from big institutional holders then perhaps that would be a bit more understandable, but we're not in that position.

I was at finnCap's offices today for an AGM (Enteq). I was pleased to see some big bottles of Invirtu in use.

With reference to our earlier discussion on germerase 24, I note this statement in the byotrol (and earlier Mirius) release:

"While other consumer surface disinfectants have been proven to initially kill SARS-CoV-2, so far none have been proven to protect against viruses and harmful bacteria for 24 hours on frequently touched surfaces, utilising the British Standards Institute test method, PAS 2424. Once disinfected, a surface can become contaminated in seconds, allowing microbes to multiply and spread at an astonishing rate."

Good to see an announcement from byotrol on it, even if it has been well-hidden. I note this release emphasises the co-branding and the launch to UK consumer retail.

Just need to get some actual marketing behind it now, and perhaps some stock to key channels such as Amazon!

If this is what was diverting management attention, maybe we can see the notice of AGM now?

Two bits of PR on the byotrol website and the Mirius deal news released in the last 48hrs So maybe the company feel safe to announce the AGM now

Thanks for your post, there are no claims for the p-wave products mats etc.

It was the one below that caught my eye which seems to be a challenger to Byotrol

Stevesham = Just had a look at some of the p-wave products but apart from the claims I cannot see any proof of the clinical claims -

However no full accounts at Companies house however trade debtors some £181K so subject to trade terms annual t/o could be in the region of £1M -
Only 6 employees - Interesting.

I thought that p-wave was part of a larger organisation as below

"P-Wave Distributors Limited is part of Quaystone Investments Ltd, which includes SGI Industries Ltd and Denis Rawlins Ltd"

Hope this helps, and their p-wave products are well respected within the cleaning/fm industry

I could list more distributors, but there are too many, so in my humble opinion a successful company that can take products to market

DYOR Hope this helps

I was going by the "story" and the dates associated with the tests on the C19 sheet. The legal entity "germerase" may be a newer development.

p-wave makes byot look like a giant of the industry. One director, who's a 'student paramedic' trying his hand at business:

Germerase has only been around since 2020:

It's 75%+ owned by JVS Products Ltd, whose website is 'under construction':

So the whole lot is 2 or 3 people, with no obvious background in the industry, running a few interlocked companies with a total capitalisation of probably less (possibly much less) than £100K.

I can't see anything on the ip, or how it's been tested. Some link with Southampton Uni is claimed. I'll look later when I have more time.

It looks like a competitor to me. Germerase has been around for a while with long-lasting claims (up to 28 days), although this is a new product. I have no idea about the effectiveness of the technology or the validity of the claims e.g. is the residual protection as effective as Actizone in real-world conditions?

Alan Mitchell will apparently be at the London cleaning show, but I can't yet see byotrol or Medimark on the list of exhibitors.

Is this a competitor for Byotrol

Do Byotrol ever attend professional trade shows

I am looking to invest in Byotrol, but my intentions are weaking as I do need to see a lot more action before their first mover advantage has been beaten
