"while the facts of the numbers are correct I feel he is struggling to see the true potential moving forward ."

Yes the significant fall in H2 compared to H1 was disappointing..

Everything else is jam tomorrow dependent on covid, how far other companies are now in the same marketplace...

Sales slowed significantly in H2 compared to H1

Comparing H2 with H1.:

fy TU
revenues: £11m (H1 £6.7m)
dj Ebitda: £1.7m (H1 £1.2m)
cash: £1.7m (H1 £1.7m)

H1:

Sales/adj ebitda H2 v H1

Sales: H2 £4.3m (H1 £6.7m)
Adj Ebitda H2 £0.5m (H1 £1.2m)
cash £1.7m (H1 £1.7m)

Seems like they have missed the golden opportunity presented to them on a plate.

Yes football it’s extremely monotonous and can become irritating but while the facts of the numbers are correct I feel he is struggling to see the true potential
moving forward .
I strongly believe the science behind the IP it’s what will drive the growth as countries worldwide start to introduce strict guidelines.
The will likely be my last post for sometime so an escape from the Daily monotony for me

1gw's ridiculing my post where I claimed sales are slowing...

He claimed finncap's target was conservative, H2 tends to be bigger, if covid infections continue to rise, so will sales.
Even suggested watching the presentation (last year's)

You must admit you were completely wrong on several fronts, weren't you, 1gw?.
Where's the big increase in H2 as covid infections have risen?

Why will you be right this time? Perhaps the new video will be another opportunity to say that things are great, AGAIN...
Groundhog day...
It's nice to have an investment decision proven right so conclusively BY EVENTS.

So on the product sales we seem to be running pretty well for the £12m revenue (which after all was just a run-rate calculation as I said), given 2H tends to be the bigger half anyway. finnCap are of course trying to be conservative about 2H, but if coronavirus cases continue to grow why wouldn't the sales continue at the £1m/month sort of level, especially if the supply chain is working better?
<...>
Happy to be corrected on any of this if you think it is inaccurate somehow. Did you even watch the presentation?

Best. maybe first time they are relevant points but when you get the same points on a daily basis 24/7 365 days a year for year upon year they are not relevant anymoreSTD gets into a stock then takes his 10 20% profit and then once it rises after he sold it becomes bitter and then continually bashes the stock hoping that it will fall back down to lower than where he sold out.Just look at blinkx he was 1gw's best mate and chief rampe till he sold out then he turns on everyoneWhy not show some class like most posters who sell out of a stock and wish everyone else well and move on

Boots, byot based, sanitiser.

50ml bottle sold 18 over 24 hrs
200ml bottle sold 1 over 24 hrs

compared to around 100 of 200ml, 70-80 of 50ml being sold early days of the pandemic.

Best,

TLY are not covid dependent whereas Byot are. The NHS has a long history of millions of patients waiting for operations. Covid has highlighted the need for change in the way NHS works, ie Out of Hospital care. 1gw has been proven to be completely wrong them and selling out at 10p, suggesting he will short them when they were around that price!.

Covid roadmap going forward:
Look at the current gov roadmap (which I believe is very optimistic). They are planning to ease covid restrictions by June. There's also suggestion of no masks being required summer. Look at the recent easing, thousands out as soon as they could and wanting to see the back of covid. It is human nature to return to normality asap. The need for PPE in UK is likely to diminish over the next few months.
Apart from that other companies have now entered the market, so more competition for sanitiser/cleaning products.

Just watched the video for a 2nd time.

Incredible amount of detail and opportunity in there.

£2M+ nailed for this year coming which makes the share price an absolute steal.

Let's hope they pay more attention to the share price going forward with more regular updates. (Can't complain to much as quite a few of us took advantage of it)

Well done Team Byotrol.

Loaf,
"Bang on with my Newlands/TU insight!"

Newlands own 3.96% of TLY and they have just published a TU for same fy end as Byot. However, TLY's TU show substantially ahead of management expectations and last year's £4m.
Looks like TLY growing significantly in Out of Hospital care through their diversified business model - Urgent Care, Insourcing, Planned Care.

Crucially, they are NOT covid dependent, as everyone needs healthcare.

"Based on draft unaudited numbers, the Group anticipates reporting EBITDA* for the year ended 31 March 2021 substantially ahead of both management expectations and the historic underlying EBITDA of £4.0 million reported by the Group in the financial year ended 31 March 2020. "

"In terms of near-term business progression, the really positive thing for me is the guidance to year-on-year growth in earnings"

The results speak for themselves.
They missed your expectations for fy March 2021 despite the biggest pandemic to hit the world in 100yrs.

Where's the £12m product sales, where's the millions in Royalty/min guaranteed payments?.

H2 slowed significantly compared to H1, as predicted over several months.

Despite what you've been saying, the rest has been proven to be jam tomorrow.

1gw14 May '20 - 17:37 - 5918 of 5960
Just as a reminder of the building blocks for this year:

£12m product sales (annual based on Mar-May run rate)
£ m royalty/minimum guaranteed payment Americas byotrol24
£ m royalty/minimum guaranteed payment SC Johnson Invirtu
£ m royalty/minimum guaranteed payment Tristel/Cache
£ m royalty/minimum guaranteed payment Solvay Actizone
£ m royalty Tristel new formulation (+ any increase in actizone supply sales over Apr-May rate)

Now some of the £m may be £k this year, but it seems to me byotrol is putting together an impressive portfolio of licence deals. And even so you could argue it is only just getting started: how many more deals can it do like the Tristel/Cache one to license non-core technologies to companies whose products are under regulatory threat? how many more geographies could it license byotrol24 in? can it license Invirtu in various geographies, or will meaningful royalties come in from the US red cross deal if Advanced Hygienics can find funding for marketing and production?

In terms of near-term business progression, the really positive thing for me is the guidance to year-on-year growth in earnings, backing up the idea that coronavirus has just accelerated what was already underway, not provided an unsustainable one-year spike.

2 mins 10 secs:
"We've just put out analyst guidance via finnCap that we should beat this year's numbers in the year to 31st March 2021 [should be 2022]. Not a massive beat but a bit on the bottom line to deliver about £2m EBITDA and I would hope we would actually beat that as well when we get to the end of the year."

In terms of 2H slowdown in product sales, he did a good job of explaining why Boots online retail sales are not necessarily representative of the business as a whole.

4 mins 17 secs:
"First half of the year just gone was very, very good. Third quarter was good. Fourth quarter tailed off in terms of product sales because 3/4 of our business is to business environments, so professional products for use in professional environments. That's a consumables business and obviously when the professional environments are being closed down you're not selling a lot of consumables. So the 4th quarter wasn't so good but that's now opening up again."

Seaweed (starting c. 13 mins 50 secs) as I hear the interview:

"...it's really, really, really exciting. It's right on trend: so it's sustainable, it's natural and the testing that we've done is showing some absolutely extraordinary results, not against bacteria but against viruses. So you put those things together and you have something, that if we get it right, it's really, really, really valuable and it's good for society also."

Yes great find I listen to a number of Similar CEO updates and have to say DT is an impressive guy and certainly as a clear vision of the company’s future.
In my opinion it’s an extremely exciting next number of years and a £100 million Mcap should easily be achieved with dividend payments by 2022

Sanitiser specialist Byotrol 'have had an extraordinary year' says CEO David Traynor

23 Apr 2021

"We've had an extraordinary year, are pleased with the performance so far and are very excited about what's to happen in the future for us" said David Traynor.

"Turnover has pretty much doubled in 12 months to over £11 million, and EBITDA was up by 6.5 times [to £1.7M], that's a pretty good performance by any measure. And we have no debt, we paid off all our debt over the year, financially we are very very strong and we are looking for growth going forwards" explained David.

Next year: "I would expect to put out more information on product launces across B2B and B2C, I would expect to be announcing more licences and alliances as we have done before, with more focus on three areas:
1. new products and ingredients for the professional market, sometimes to create a gap in their portfolio which we spot for them
2. More direct to consumer work - we did 20% of our work direct to retailers and retailers as partners, and I think we can do better than that
3 Third area is licences and alliances across those two areas."
